Papa Johns’ sales are still up, but growth is slowing. The sales of its North American restaurants with at least one year openings grew by just 1% in the second quarter. This is a decrease from the 5% recorded last year. The second quarter of 2020 saw sales rise 28%.

Pizza is still popular. The best and most appealing food on Earth is pizza. Americans have neither surplus income in their households or disposable income in the form pandemic payments from the federal governments to indulge in take-out meals or delivery. More people are cooking and eating at home, thanks for Joe Biden and his administration’s reckless mismanagement of one of the strongest U.S. economies in decades leading to raging inflation.
That said, let’s give CNN a half-credit for getting close to the likely reason here:

What will you do with this Papa Bowl product at Papa Johns for your family? My answer is “No”. That’s because, since I try to keep the keto way of eating, I kinda already make something like this when I crave pizza. Give it a try–and save yourself some money.
