Ottawa Police Attack More People Including Rebel News Reporter – Opinion

On Friday morning the police arrived at Ottawa’s Freedom Convoy, where they arrested about 100 people. They also tow more than 20 cars. Their faces were covered with green masks, and police disguised their names. They were certain hoping that they could clear the protest before weekend when more people show up.

As we reported, there were numerous videos showing police beating protesters. A group of police officers on horseback ran into the crowd faster than expected, knocking down a woman and a man on a wheelchair to the ground. Police claim that a bike was hit the horse but the video footage shows no evidence. This was just a weak excuse.

Despite all this, efforts to remove protesters from the streets failed. The protestors aren’t gone, despite the presence of hundreds of officers. More have also shown up. They are trying to get rid of hundreds of people on Saturday.

People are being questioned by police about why they’re in this area. You apparently don’t have permission to go into downtown Ottawa. It’s not too far-right. But if their point was to prevent protesters, it doesn’t appear to have worked.

On Saturday hundreds of police officers were on the ground pushing protestors out of the streets. They were not afraid to use long batons (or clubs) against protestors.

Rebel News reporter Alexa Levoie was attacked by two officers in one incident. She had her credentials wrapped around her neck, and was holding a microphone. She was struck three times by an officer with a stick, while another shot her with something (possibly teargas). At 0:22 you can hear the shot and hear her yelp. She was then struck three more times by the other officer. The police also seem to have dropped at least one weapon on the ground.

It is complete cluster funk. What is the point of beating and shooting at people a canister? Was it because she was a Rebel News journalist?

It turns out that the reporter who put Justin Trudeau on notice at a previous press conference was also the one responsible for this incident. Below is a video that shows how great Trudeau responds to great questions.

Yesterday and today, police deny that they used tear gas. However, the term is used to describe any type of irritant, and police refuse to use it in reference specifically to tear gas.

We noticed that Andrew Lawton, True North journalist was pepper-sprayed and maced yesterday.

The protesters were blamed by the police, who claimed they were using gas to disperse. There aren’t any videos to support their claim.

The video showed police clearly shooting at protesters. The protesters kicked it back on the ground; that’s the only thing they did there.

The police were finally forced to admit they were using a “chemical irritant.” They obviously were shooting something at people, which was described as a canister.

Another interesting thing I noticed, suddenly there’s a spurt of people on Twitter praising the police for acting, yet the accounts all have every evidence of being “bots”: low or no followers, numbers after their generic names, etc. Is it possible that someone hired a bot farm in order to impress Justin Trudeau or the police? It would be better to not run over or assault disabled elderly women and beat them with batons, then fire canisters into their legs.

This is just a thought.
