No Tragedy Unexploited: Jezebel Uses Uvalde to Slander Conservatives

Heinrichs published an article on Jezebel, May 27, that accused Conservatives Christopher Rufo, Ron DeSantis, of neglecting the shooting issue and instead focusing on core conservative issues, such as Gender theory (CRT) and Disney. They are avoiding Uvalde by their silence on Twitter or social media regarding these issues, according to Heinrichs. 

This is the funny thing. She refutes herself in her own article. She says “If it sounds silly to criticize conservatives over whether or not they’ve taken to Twitter to comment on a cataclysmic event, it’s because it is.” Spot on. It is ridiculous to suggest that these conservatives do not care about a national tragedy just because their twitter feed doesn’t reflect “the current thing.” 

No one is saying that Uvalde isn’t a tragedy, and it’s insane to suggest that conservatives do not think the same just because you don’t like their Twitter. Perhaps they don’t like performative outrage. Maybe they’re reluctant to make pronouncements on a situation of which we still don’t know much. What are the odds Heinrichs will treat any of their statements with disdain?

Progressives view conservatives after every mass shooting as child-killing, sadists. Uvalde does more of the exact same. To demonize conservatives, the liberal establishment works like a clockwork. 

The real reason that Heinrichs and the leftist mob are raving about conservatives supposed “silence” is that they will not blindly accept the anti-gun narrative. If you aren’t actively speaking up against guns, then you want to kill kids. 

To push their agenda for political change, the left does not seem to be able to overlook a terrible tragedy. All levels of the liberal machine, from the elites to the men-at arms, are making sure you’re not just accepting their narratives but actively supporting them. It is treason to the left to be silent in Uvalde’s wake.
