The International Rugby League’s (IRL) decision to ban transgendered females from the sport is not being celebrated by all.
Former rugby player Caroline Layt, who played rugby before and after his transition to becoming a female was completed in 1998, calls the decision “disappointing.”
Layt stated, “We are all human beings. We have emotions and feel as if we’re being isolated.”
The rest of Layt’s attempt to criticize the ban followed the typical “it’s trans discrimanation” line of thinking that we are unfortunately so accustomed to hearing, but Layt said something that highlighted the logical bankruptcy of anyone that chooses to transition.

Layt said he felt like he was a girl from the age of four, and that had society been more accepting of his feelings, he wouldn’t have to have gone through male puberty.
Layt explained, “We’re human beings. “I transitioned a long, long time ago. It is not obvious to them that this is an inherent fact, nor is it intrinsic to us as we are females from a young age.
Layt and other people like him believe that because they feel strongly about something, it means that others should follow their lead. Layt stated that he believed he was a woman even though he had gone through male puberty. This shows that he is aware of his true gender identity.
They must ignore that biology, reality, common sense, and science all show that the feelings they feel are not facts and should not be taken seriously. If any individual, government agency, or sports league decides to uphold truth and common sense at the expense of “inclusion,” Layt and others will not be able to indulge their feelings. decides to uphold truth and common sense at the expense of “inclusion,” Layt and others play the victim card and act like they are oppressed and bullied.
These lies are so common that it is truly sad. It is our hope that they one day will wake up to the truth of their error and return to their senses.
