NFL Postpones Games Due to the Jab Being Jive – Opinion

We are currently reminiscing about a past era from the sports desk below the decks at RedState. That era when if a scheduled game was cancelled, anything short of an act God would stop it happening? It takes only positive COVID testing to shut everything down, no matter how incontinence ridden the people involved.

We reported a few days back on how an increasing number of COVID-positive athletes despite being fully vaccinated, proving once more that the vaccine is working. Now, the NFL, unquestionably the highest-ranking sport, has decided to postpone games.

The league announced Friday that Saturday’s game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Cleveland Browns has been moved to Monday, while Sunday’s meetings between the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams have been moved to Tuesday.

In college basketball, games have been canceled.

At least 20 men’s basketball games and 36 women’s basketball games have been canceled or postponed this season because of COVID-19 protocols as of Friday afternoon. This number is expected to rise as the country struggles with coronavirus infections.

There are many games that the NHL needs to reschedule.

This season has seen 20 postponements, with the Boston Bruins playing the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The game has been cancelled.

And let’s not forget the NBA.

As of Thursday evening, there were at least 39 players — roughly 8% of the league’s total player roster — from at least 13 different teams known to be in the league’s protocols. The league’s highest number of protocol-indicated players in Chicago was eight, which is one more than Brooklyn. James Harden, (Giannis Antetokounmpo), both were among the first to enter protocols this week.

Do I need to mention the fact that my jab is jive!

One day, professional sports and college will be able to talk in louder voices because of the amount of money they cost. It is obvious the “vaccines” aren’t working particularly well, and trying to fix the problem with more doses of the same formulas is sheer insanity. The fine fabulous furry freakout over Omicron, who we’re pretty sure we saw open for Jethro Tull in 1977, falls to pieces when you compare the European and American hysteria to, say, South Africa, where the variant originated and absolutely no one is flipping their lid.

We’re tired of, and from, the doomsday false prophets. Yes, COVID can be deadly. Yes, it can be deadly — especially when not treated properly because doing so might hurt the narrative that Bad Orange Man got it all wrong, particularly when commenting on possible treatments. But it is not an immediate death sentence for one and all, and trying to pile on more of the same stuff and nonsense that hasn’t done a thing to slow its spread is an act that has worn unspeakably thin.

We’ve figured out how to live with endless permutations of the flu, which like COVID can be lethal. Every year there’s a new flu shot that hopefully will vaccinate its recipients against that year’s flu strains. Is it possible to do the exact same thing with COVID vaccines? Will there be any real pressure for drug makers to make COVID shots which actually work? When will we say enough to useless mask mandates, business-killing restrictions, and socially damaging “preventative measures” against children and adults that prevent nothing? This garbage is just the beginning.

Let us continue with the scheduled games, while we do so.
