With regard to COVID policy, the NFL took another step toward normalcy.
On Thursday, the NFL’s Management Council decided that the league will no longer conduct surveillance of how closely teams are testing its players and staff. Testing and vaccination can still happen if a team’s physician recommends it, but the league will no longer mandate it or enforce it.
The Club Physician will still recommend COVID testing. Anyone experiencing symptoms should immediately notify the physician and obtain a negative test.

There will not be a tier system to determine who is allowed and cannot enter the facility, based on their vaccination status. This will all be up to each team, with no strict monitoring by the league (which would have been what the government should have done from the beginning).

After a March 3rd decision, the NFLPA and NFL had previously decided that they would no longer allow mask-wearing or testing to be part of the NFL’s everyday lives.
Although the NFL is completely committed to the wake agenda, the NFL seems to be improving its intelligence by showing some improvement (despite the fact it took several seasons to find it).
