“Zero Dollars Joe.” Just one of a plethora of appropriate nicknames for the 46th president of the United States, who in less than 10 months has managed to do exactly what Barack Obama once “allegedly” said about his former sidekick: “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” Sure enough, here we are.
While we’re at it, Obama also “allegedly” said: “You know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”
As we reported last week, the lying bunch of rascals in the White House — Biden included — continue to claim (lie their a**es off) that Biden’s massive wealth-redistribution scheme, ridiculously named “Build Back Better” (BBB), would cost U.S. taxpayers “zero dollars” and would add “zero dollars” to the national debt.
My Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars.
We don’t have to waste money on loopholes and tax evasion, but we do have the opportunity to make an investment once in a generation in America.
This adds zero dollars on top of the national debt.

This is laugh-out-loud foolishness, of course, but again — Joe Biden. Or as the Republican State Leadership Committee called it, “deliberately lying to Americans.”
“We talk about price tags. There is no price tag attached to the debt. We’re paying — we’re going to pay for everything we spend.”
Comments from completely delusional individuals @JoeBidenHis $5+ Trillion spending bill.
He’s deliberately lying to Americans.https://t.co/OXsTKLfQbD

The Hoover Institution’s Michael J. Boskin said it perfectly, as well:
“While all politicians exaggerate, US President Joe Biden’s claim that his proposed $3.5 trillion spending package ‘costs zero dollars’ rises to a higher plane.”
All politicians lie, of course. Boskin argues that Biden has committed baldfaced lying in this instance. wrote
A serious accusation against the President of America is to say that he’s a flat-faced liar. You need facts and data to support such accusations, I’m sure.
That’s fine. Let’s go to a recent study by the prestigious Wharton School of Business for a bit of number-crunching on Biden’s preposterous claim.
The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania will reportedly issue a study Wednesday that reveals President Joe Biden’s reconciliation package will not be free, although the White House has claimed it would cost “zero” dollars. https://t.co/1CB02gFTzd

Bottom line: According to the study, the Build Back Better bill’s net cost would add $2.42 trillion of debt to the federal budget. Punchbowl News reports on Thursday that:
BBB Plan is Not completely paid for (as Biden and the Democrats claim) — it would increase spending by $1.87 trillion, while increasing revenue by $1.56 trillion in the 10-year budget window.
Even if the program, other than the clean-energy credit, were to be made permanent it would result in a 3x increase in new spending and a 1x increase revenue.
Incidentally, remember when a White House reporter in October asked Jen Circle-Back Psaki: “Does the president still believe that Build Back Better will not add a dime to the national debt?” Me, too.
And remember Psaki’s smug answer?
“Correct. It won’t,” Psaki claimed.
“Why should Americans believe that?” the reporter asked.
“Because it won’t,” Psaki flatly said.
In the meantime, Facts matter.
