It’s incredible that Leftists think comedians are the best messengers. John Oliver’s latest tirade against Ted Cruz was filled with profane poetry borrowed from Dr. Seuss. It shows that comedians can be more effective at angrily emoting rather than at enlightening.
Cruz was called a “fo-king knob” by him on Sunday. His first poem of 2019 asked Cruz to “suck his balls.” Does that sound racist? Does it constitute sexual harassment? Oliver’s efforts to “own conservatives” is loved by left-wing media outlets.
Oliver can be a hypocrite at times. For example, he inveighs against tax breaks for the rich and yet…Oliver had a tax attorney set up two revocable trusts, one for him and one for his wife, to hide the couple’s purchase of a snazzy $9.5 million 39th floor Manhattan penthouse with “panoramic views of the city skyline.” They “used a tax loophole created by Donald Trump himself back in the 1970s.”
CBS Plus Sunday morning admits pressures on free expression from left & right, but big liberal spin emerges with GOP pushing how many bills are pushing “Educational Gag Orders” (a la the leftist group PEN America) and “the spirit of McCarthy” is alive and well in the schools!
