Between Joe Biden’s ranting Atlanta speech, and Kamala Harris’s bumbling interview on NBC with Craig Melvin, the White House had a horrible week even though liberal television networks actively promoted their failures. Biden was comparing the people who don’t vote for his voting rights bills or refuse to abstain from the filibuster to segregationists such as Bull Connor and George Wallace. This includes both Republicans and Democrats. Matt Lewis, Never-Trumper at the Daily Beast claimed that it was a “Unity Fail”.
Kyle Drennen joins the discussion to explain how Melvin’s interview in person with Kamala Harris went more complicated (and stranger) than anticipated. When Melvin asked if it was time to change COVID strategies, she oddly replied “It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.”
The Republican National Committee is also discussed, with some tough talk about what might happen if they don’t play ball with the Commission on Presidential Debates in 2024. Republicans don’t want to be stuck with liberal media moderators who hold “town hall” discussions with biased questions that tilt toward the left. This is a great time to ask questions about the performance of media on this most important stage.
