We’ve been talking about a lot of the indicators that there’s going to be a huge tsunami for Republicans in the midterms.
We reported earlier how Joe Biden’s numbers just took another nosedive to their lowest ever. Bill Maher explained on Friday why and how people are leaving the Democrats. We saw this with South Texas’s formerly reliable Democratic district that was governed by Joe Biden for many decades. The radical left is also driving people away from Democrats.
But there’s more evidence that the Democrats are about to have their heads handed to them — more than one million voters have switched their party affiliation to become Republicans over the past year, according to Fox.
According to analysis by The Associated Press, the GOP has been most successful in suburban areas of medium and large cities. This is because voters who voted for President Biden in 2020 face inflationary pressures and are becoming increasingly critical of Democratic social policies.
Over the past twelve months, approximately 1.7million Americans have switched their party affiliation. The report shows that two-thirds of these people have chosen to support the GOP and only 630,000 have chosen to join the Democratic Party.
This should sound a loud alarm for Democrats. If they don’t see the huge move happening here and do something to adjust, they’re going to get pounded. In fact, at this point, I’m not even sure they can do anything. Democrats are dead. The people are sick of these politicians. And that anger isn’t limited to the folks who actually go to the trouble of switching party affiliation.
But the Democrats’ response hasn’t been to offer policies that could really improve matters. They are not reevaluating extremism. Rather, they are turning that up, even more, to jack up people’s emotions and create divisions over issues like abortion and Jan. 6. While screaming about Jan. 6, Democrats themselves are attacking the Supreme Court and calling it “illegitimate.” But their effort to distract isn’t working and it may even be backfiring, with people thinking Democrats care more about preserving their power than addressing any of the issues which are hurting Americans now. As we’ve noted, the polls are showing the big bottom-line issues for Americans are still inflation and the economy at 82 and 80 percent. Both Jan. 6th and abortion are not high on the priority list.
The bottom four issue ranked the highest for “Low Priority” are:
⬇️ J6
⬇️Climate Change
⬇️COVID
⬇️AbortionThe lowest ranked issues are the entire Democrat Platform for 2022 https://t.co/HD5WlTIFi5

Even Democratic legislators are acknowledging the slowness with which Biden has acted on these issues.
“I support the president’s efforts, but we need a bolder vision and faster action,” Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times earlier in June.
“To meet the moment, Mr. Biden should convene an emergency task force empowered to lower prices and address shortages. We need an all-out mobilization, not just a few ad hoc initiatives reacting to headlines,” he added.
But it may be too late to save them now because it’s not just Biden — it’s the rest of the Democrats that Americans are holding responsible for the mess, as well.
