Never Trumpers Get Savaged by Americans After They Show Biden Remorse – Opinion

Joe Biden has been beaten to pieces in Atlanta for his disgusting speech, which compared Republicans with racists.

Biden — who has previously been strongly against tossing aside the filibuster — said he was willing to do anything, including throwing away all principles, to get his way.

“To protect our democracy, I support changing the Senate rules, whichever way they need to be changed, to prevent a minority of senators from blocking action on voting rights,” Biden ranted.

“The next few days, when these bills come to a vote, will mark a turning point in this nation’s history….Will we choose democracy over autocracy, light over shadows, justice over injustice? I know where I stand.” Biden continued, “Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Are you ready to stand on the side Bull Connor or John Lewis? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”

These are all Democrats. We will add. It is wrong to compare voter integrity bills with segregationists or racists. They can’t point to one bill that would deprive anyone of the right to vote. Numerous bills improve the chance to vote. Indeed, Biden’s own state has fewer opportunities to vote than does Georgia, one of the states Joe Biden has attacked.

Now, it’s no secret how terrible Joe Biden is. He’s had years of pitching divisive rhetoric. He’s made countless racist comments. Also, it was clear exactly where Democrats wanted to go if given the chance to retake power.

But the Never Trumpers are upset with Biden’s speech?

Yes, but we all knew that before — and you guys helped get him into office. We’ve known for decades that Joe has race issues; they’ve been out there for all to see, and we’ve covered them at length. We all knew he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the drawer and, indeed, had been regarded for decades as a gaffe-ridden fool.

Knowing that Democrats were going to try to move the country more to the left and take as much power as they could, we knew. They were talking about things like pushing to stack the Supreme Court and tossing away other norms, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Biden was always this man. But Never Trump folks didn’t care what the results of their actions would be because they were so broken over President Donald Trump. They couldn’t think far enough down the road to see. Or maybe didn’t care about the inevitable result because they were (and still are) so wrapped up in Trump.

Look around you, Never Trump folks. This is what you did to get us in this mess that we now all must deal with. Don’t you dare act upset with anything Biden says now.
