Nets Skip Trump Call Log Reversal, CBS Gushes for Biden’s Sister

After the report about the Trump White House telephone logs from January 6, 2021 had a seven hour missing gap which was later proven to be an elaborate media hoax, Friday’s evening newscasts decided to disregard this uncomfortable truth and concentrate on other issues. All three news networks covered the original allegation Monday night.

CNN.com admitted the following facts, after it was made to apologize:

According to an insider familiar with the matter, six pages from White House switchboard logs covering January 6, 2021 are complete. This is a result of an official White House record review. The missing pages are not there and the 7-hour gap can be explained by the use of White House landlines and White House cell phones, as well as personal phones that don’t go through the switchboard.

Instead of the broadcasters correcting their mistakes and admitting that they misread a story on former President Trump, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News & NBC Nightly News wasted air time on a report on the oldest park ranger retiring, a report on the weather, and a CBS dedicated an entire segment to gushing over President Joe Biden’s sister Valerie Biden Owens.

Owens was not the only one who got sycophantic questions. For example CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell told the sister of the President that she’s “one of the few people that is not afraid tell your brother when he’s made a mistake.”You can follow up with her by asking if she has ever been to this place. “had to tell him anything lately where he’s wrong?”

Owens gave a sappy answer about how Biden could be long-winded, of course, O’Donnell completely fell for that line and replied sympathetically “so you tell him to be less loquacious?”

Most laughably, when Owens told O’Donnell after being asked about her brother’s comments supporting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s removal from office, said a Joe Biden “gaffe is when he speaks the truth.”

O’Donnell completely bought that answer as well. Reporting on any news that is uncomfortable for the Democratic Party will not be tolerated by the media.

The latest instance of bias through omission in the networks’ three networks was possible thanks to QuickBooksABC News Progressive CBS: DellNBC. They are linked.

NORAH O’DONNELL: You’re one of the few people that is not afraid tell your brother when he’s made a mistake.

VALERIE Biden OWENS (laughs)

O’DONNELL: Have you had to tell him anything lately where he’s wrong?

OWENS: Uh, no.

O’DONNELL: There is no perfect person. None of us are perfect.

OWENS: It’s sometimes the tone, or flippiness of a comment. That was too harsh. Joe is the one who gets the blame. Joe continues to explain, which can be seen by the others. Joe doesn’t want anyone to interrupt him. He has another thing to tell and one more fact. People are curious, but it is sometimes just too much to handle.

O’DONNELL: So you tell him to be less loquacious.

OWENS: Yes, sometimes. It has occurred on occasion.

O’DONNELL: His off-script remark that Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power. Others called it an error of judgment. It was sometimes called the “unvarnished truth”. Was that what you thought of him saying?

OWN: Joe makes a joke when someone says he has a gag. Joe was just back from spending time with the moms of children who have lost their families to the violence in Ukraine. That’s Joe. That’s Joe. He understands what it means to be grieving and how difficult it is.

O’DONNELL: So when you heard people say, “He’s going to walk it back,” you thought?

OWENS: No. He was a father to his son. He’s real. Private man is public. There is no light.
