John Durham, the Special prosecutor brought in a Russian national to court, charged with lying about FBI information. As one would expect, liberal broadcast media had no interest sharing the huge development in their false story that they attempted to undermine the Trump presidency for the past four years.
As NewsBusters reported previously regarding the network coverage from that night instead of covering important news like this latest development in the Durham probe, ABC’S World News Tonight, CBS Evening NewsPlease see the following: NBC Nightly News The approaching cold snap was what they regarded as a surprise. As they implied their family wouldn’t find justice without one of the black jurors at Ahmaud Abery’s trial, the white jury members were racist.
Also, they ignored Biden’s admission that they were planning to pay huge sums to illegal immigrants whose families had been separated at the frontier.
Meanwhile, it was Fox News Channel’s Special ReportThey shared all the important news America needed. “A Russian analyst who helped provide information for the now-infamous dossier that fueled the Trump-Russia investigation has been arrested,” announced anchor Bret Baier. “It is a crucial part of the ongoing probe we’ve been telling you about since the beginning by Special Prosecutor John Durham.”
“His name is Igor Danchenko and he is charged with five counts of lying to the FBI. He was detained this morning. He had been taken into custody earlier in the day. We have some fresh video within the last hour and a half of him leaving court in the Eastern District of Alexandria,” reported correspondent David Spunt.
He wasn’t the first Fox News reporter to be on the Durham beat. Before she joined CBS News, that reporter was Catherine Herridge. Unfortunately, her reportingOn the topicWas relegated to Twitter but not the network’s flagship newscasts.
“39-page indictment Igor Danchenko stands out because it makes the linkage between Clinton campaign/lawyer, opposition research known as ‘Steele Dossier’ used by FBI to obtain surveillance warrants for Trump campaign aide [Carter Page] + then Special Counsel Mueller probe,” she wrote in one tweet.

That meshed with Spunt’s reporting where he explained to viewers how “The indictment also mentions Danchenko’s involvement with someone identified as PR Executive One, someone believed to be close to the Hillary Clinton operation.”
In another tweet, she reported that Danchenko was released “on a $100,000 bond. He will NOT be on electronic monitoring system + must surrender his passport within 24 hours.” Adding: “His travel is restricted to the Washington, DC area.”
There’s a small possibility that the broadcast networks could give it airtime Friday morning, but don’t hold your breath.
The omission of this serious development in the Durham investigation was made possible because of the lucrative sponsorships from Prevagen on ABC, SimpliSafe on CBS, and Fidelity on NBC. You can find their contact information linked to let you know about biased news that they finance.

Fox News Channel’s Special Report

Eastern, 6:07:20BRET BAIER – A Russian analyst, who contributed information for the dossier that fuelled the Trump-Russia investigation, has been taken into custody. It is a crucial part of the ongoing probe we’ve been telling you about since the beginning by Special Prosecutor John Durham.
David Spunt is the correspondent and has more details about the Justice Department. David, good evening.
DAVID SPUNT : Bret, it’s a great evening. Big story. It is Igor Danchenko. He has been charged with lying to the FBI on five counts. He was detained this morning. He had been taken into custody earlier in the day. New video has been obtained within an hour and a quarter of the time he left the Eastern District Alexandria court.
Special Counsel John Durham says Danchenko – you see him there in the white shirt – a Russian national living in Northern Virginia, was the primary source for British spy Christopher Steele, who compiled the widely talked about yet debunked Steele dossier full of accusations about former President Donald Trump.
According to the indictment, Danchenko told FBI that Steele was his main source of information. Just a few hours before, Danchenko was in Federal Court in Virginia’s eastern District. A judge granted Danchenko electronic surveillance and released him. The indictment also mentions Danchenko’s involvement with someone identified as PR Executive One, someone believed to be close to the Hillary Clinton operation.
Danchenko is third to face charges in John Durham’s two-and a half-year investigation on the Russia probe into Trump’s associates. Bret Clinesmith, an ex-FBI lawyer, pleaded guilty at the trial to falsifying documents used for a FISA warrant to be issued against Carter page, Trump’s campaign adviser. Michael Sussmann was the Clinton campaign attorney who is accused of lying to the FBI concerning alleged links between Donald Trump’s and the Kremlin. Sussmann did not provide any information.
Today, a judge signed an order dealing with classified information as part of Sussmann’s case. Durham, Bret has clearly begun a series of charges against lower-ranking officials for lying to FBI agents. Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of Georgia confirmed Durham’s renewed budget. He continues doing his job.
Kevin Clinesmith has pleaded guilty. Sussmann, however, pleaded not guilty. He will fight the case to the bitter end. Igor Danchenko attempted to plead guilty before the court, but the judge ruled that this was not the right time and this is not an appearance.
He will do what? Next week, he’ll be at court. We will, of course. Bret?
BAIER: Great job. David, it will be followed. We thank you.
