During MSNBC’s recap of Thursday night’s hyper-partisan January 6 committee hearings, The 11th HourStephanie Ruhle, host, brought Claire McCaskill (failed Democratic Senator) to discuss the negative effects of the Democrats’ publicity stunt.
The discussion shifted to the political implications of the hearings after the two men gushed about the performance.
Ruhle asked McCaskill about Republican Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell. “Clare, I’m not sure what network he was watching, but I’m 100 percent sure Mitch McConnell was tuned in” Ruhle claimed before asking “what’s he thinking tonight? He’s no friend of Donald Trump’s.”
McCaskill insisted “he can’t stand Donald Trump.” She huffed that “he’s worried about Donald Trump’s candidates winning Republican primaries, which makes it harder for him to take back power.”
Proving how completely out of touch she is with the priorities of average Americans, she foolishly claimed McConnell is thinking “I sure hope gas prices stay really high.” She continued her delusional analysis:
This is what he thinks. It’s because he wants to deflect the American public away from the real events of tonight. How complicit they are all in Trump’s lock-grip position within the party. And I think he’s hoping that the high gas prices, and the inflationary pressures on our economy, will be enough to make people forget, and just vote to change out the Democrats.
Ruhle jumped in to claim “that’s sick” to which McCaskill shrugged it off as “politics.”
McCaskill was asked by McCaskill what her fellow Missourians think about tonight’s hearings and if any were watching.
Her answer shows her disdain for her fellow citizens and illustrates why she was thrown out of office: “my state has become very, very “Trumped”. It is a very, he’s a very popular guy in Missouri.”
She bitterly sneered that “most of them were not watching. And most of them would tell you, with a straight face, that the election was stolen and Donald Trump won it.”
She was not surprised to be thrown out as she had a great year in 2018, which was otherwise a strong political year for Democrats. MSNBC has miscreants all over her.

Eastern, 11:17:12STEPHANIE ROHLE: Clare. While I can’t remember what television network he was viewing, I know Mitch McConnell was. He is what? He’s no friend of Donald Trump’s.
CLAIRE MCCASKILL: No, he can’t stand Donald Trump.
RUHLE
MCCASKILL: And he’s worried about Donald Trump’s candidates winning Republican primaries, which makes it harder for him to take back power. You know exactly what he is thinking. Gas prices should stay high, boy!
RUHLE: That’s sick! That’s sick!
MCCASKILL: Well, it’s politics.
RUHLE: And do you think it’s successful? I know we’re out of time. Let me go to Missouri. Take me to Missouri, that’s your state tonight. There are no hard-blue people. Let me introduce you to your typical Missouri family. Do they see?
MCCASKILL, QUESTION: First, the answer is no. Many of them don’t. Because my state has become very, very “Trumped”. This is why he’s so popular in Missouri. Missouri’s majority of Republicans consider themselves Trump Republicans. They were probably not even watching. Most of them will tell you straight-faced that Donald Trump won the election because it was stolen.
