Saturday Morning Cross ConnectionMSNBC viewers received a triple dose of racism from frequent MSNBC guests Roland Martin, Elie Mystal and others. Mystal stated in the first hour of the program that blue-collar blacks care only about using their guns against black people, and then he continued to make similar claims throughout the second hour. Martin stated that he had become sick of hearing white people, such as James Carville, a veteran Democratic strategist, criticizing the far right, and that he needed to “stop the F.”
Tiffany Cross was chuckling after Martin’s Carville-racially explicit hit elicited laughter on the panel. She mused that whites are “uncomfortable”, when they will be a minority, in the future.
This is just one of a number of offensive, and sometimes racist comments that have been featured on MSNBC’s weekend morning block for many years.
Cross played a clip of Carville — former strategist for President Bill Clinton — recently appearing on the PBS NewsHourBlaming Democrats’ recent weakness in New Jersey, Virginia and New Jersey on “wokeness”, such as the movement to “defund police”, Martin was a frequent MSNBC host and talked show host. He reacted to her question about Carville and the role of white men.
I think Carville should shut the ‘F’ up because I’m sick of these white men whining and complaining about wokeness when you like it when black folks and Latinos and young white voters and Asians are voting for candidates. James Carville, how about this? How about you go learn how to cut some Lincoln Project-type ads for the Democratic party?
He added, after panel members applauded and laughed with him:
You could even make memes. Is there a video of this morning’s infrastructure bill? How about you go raise money to run those ads on OAN and Fox News and Newsmax and telling those broke white folks in those various states how the infrastructure bill is going to benefit them? James, my apologies, but I ask you to complete your task and stop blaming others for doing the hard work.
Cross then displayed her own anger at whites and reacted.
You know that Roland held strong opinions. Ro felt that way too, and I must admit, it was not an uncommon sentiment. As the demographic changes, I believe it will be very difficult for many. The screen is right in front of you. This is America’s rising majority. It’s going be hard for many to see the screen, but we will soon feel more comfortable. At this stage in history, we are comfortable making others uncomfortable.
Mystal — The Justice correspondent for – was present at a conversation about Ahmaud’s tragic shooting death in Georgia, by three men who were trying to arrest citizens. The NationAccording to a report, white poor men don’t care how black men can be killed when discussing political issues.
The Democrats believe that the non-college educated white voter is concerned about kitchen issues such as infrastructure, pipes, and the amount of milk one can place on the table. My contention is that they only care about black people being shot and how to make it go away. They want that. They are actually in it to do that.
Mystal has had quite a history-making openly racist and inflammatory comments about whites going all the way back to when Joy Reid used to host the AM JoyShow in the same slot.
He has declared that it was necessary to “destroy” pro-Donald Trump whites in the election, deride and, derided “trifling white men” who voted Trump, and wished for frostbite to hit MAGA marchers. He also claimed that whites always choose their “trashiest” person to run for office.

Eastern 10:52TIFFANY Cross: I have Justice correspondent, Justice, joining me to discuss all this. The NationElie Mystal, my friend.
While I was watching the case, I kept thinking about Second Amendment and expanded gun rights. It occurred to me that Ahmaud Abery’s three accused were able to have greater access guns. This does not sound like a combination that would work.
ELIE MYSTAL THE NATION: I believe this links with the previous segment and the Biden press confer. The Democrats claim that the non-college educated white voter is concerned about kitchen issues such as infrastructure or how much milk one can place on the table. They care about using guns against black people, and getting away with it. They want that. They are actually in it to do that.

CROSS: Roland, before we check out, I want to get your thoughts on Carville. We’re so tight — the Biden presser made us mess up — but I’ve got to hear your take on Carville and his comments on woke speech.
ROLAND MARTIN, HOST ON ROLAND MARTIN UNFILTERED: : I think Carville should shut the ‘F’ up because I’m sick of these white men whining and complaining about wokeness when you like it when black folks and Latinos and young white voters and Asians are voting for candidates. James Carville, how about this? How about you go learn how to cut some Lincoln Project-type ads for the Democratic party?

CROSS Ro, it’s true, I believe that many of us feel the same way. It’s going be difficult for many people due to the changes in demographics. The screen is right in front of you. This is America’s rising majority. It’s going be hard for many to see the screen, but we will soon feel more comfortable. At this stage in history, we are comfortable making others uncomfortable. Thank you, my incredible panel.
