Saturday morning’s Cross Connection on MSNBC, during a segment about the upcoming confirmation hearings for Biden Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, guest, and The Nation justice correspondent Elie Mystal claimed Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) is trying to get Jackson killed by bringing up her record of being soft on child porn offenders.
Tiffany Cross, host of Tiffany Cross, was the first person to bring up the topic about Jackson’s records and Hawley’s worries. “He’s going focus on her practice of not letting child porn offenders get away with their crimes as both a judge or policymaker. I mean, this is a guy who serves in the same party as Jim Jordan so it’s quite rich to hear some of the things that they’re suggesting and Matt Gaetz. Do we really need to start that list? This is absurd.”
She claimed then that “Republicans from the Senate Judiciary Committee do not have any, their strategy is to erase”The GOP is a good example of this. “No plan to attack her record.”Even though they only reported on their plans “Attack her records.”
Mystal replied that he believes Republicans should simply accept her decision and not challenge her. “The easiest thing for Republicans is to just have a regular and kinda over board hearing. She should be confirmed.” Because “she doesn’t change the balance of power of the court anyway.”
He suggested then that Republican complaints over high gas prices, or Hunter Biden’s laptop contents are futile. “Go back to talking about gas prices, Hunter Biden’s laptop and whatever else counts as part of a Republican platform.”
Mystal then focused on Hawley daringly to raise Jackson’s judicial record regarding child porn offences being allowed off the hook:
For Josh Hawley’s work. Let’s be very clear. Josh Hawley is trying to murder her by trying to accomplish this. He wants to use violence against the Supreme Court nominee. We know this because they make ridiculous child pornographic claims and some of their members show up to perform the stuff. This happened at the New Hampshire pizza shop.

He, according to Capitol Hill’s Senate Judiciary Committee will be focusing on Josh Hawley’s record of letting child porn obstructors off the hook both as a Judge and as a Policymaker. I mean, this is a guy who serves in the same party as Jim Jordan so it’s quite rich to hear some of the things that they’re suggesting and Matt Gaetz. Should we begin this list of things, or? This is absurd. It’s a bit of nonsense Elie. They will erasure the Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans. I’m just curious, what your thoughts are about that because the point is they really don’t have any thoughts. They do not have any plans to attack her record.
ELIE MYSTAL – The simplest thing that Republicans could do would to have a regular, just as normal hearing. Let her be confirmed. However, she doesn’t alter the power balance at the court. Go back and talk about what worked. Talk about Hunter Biden’s laptop, gas prices and other issues. She will be confirmed. And she is going to be well-liked while she’s confirmed, and she’s not going to change the balance of power so them going to the mattresses against her is kind of a waste of their time. The Josh Hawley story is not something I want to ignore. This is where the Democrats need to get involved. Because they are trying to make her look bad, and I need them to defend her with the same passion that Lindsey Graham supported Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged attempt rape. As I do, the Democrats need to give her that energy especially when it comes to this false alleged issue about her sentence for sex offenders.

This is because these individuals make absurd claims about child pornography and some of their members show up at violent events to perform stuff. As was the case with the New Hampshire pizza joint. You know what I mean? Josh Hawley is a pizza gate expert. Guess who was the judge that sentenced the pizza gate man? Ketanji brown Jackson was that judge. The pizza delivery man was sentenced to four years imprisonment. His lawyer asked for 18 month. In fact, the prosecutors asked for 4 1/2 year. She was so lenient that she showed mercy to the man at the pizza place. They are mad at her. So that is where all this stuff comes from. It’s important to understand where this stuff is coming from, and Democrats must be able to defend her. You should be there to support her, not just leave her alone.
