If you live in a part of the country that largely absconded from COVID-mania, things today aren’t much different than they were a year ago. But for many parts of the country, they’ve only just recently seen a return to some semblance of normal. That’s because, as many predicted, Omicron was relatively mild compared to previous variants and established natural immunity across most of the population.
There is no way to believe that Democrat-led places will be able to surrender their power as easily. But, there has been a resurgence of mask hysteria.
Philadelphia saw an average 7-day high of 170 cases of covid and two deaths, despite being home to 1.5 million people. But the mask mandate is still in place.
Although I love my home until my death, it’s ruled by psychopaths.

Greg Price points out that Philadelphia has an average of two deaths per day according to COVID-19. Just 170 cases are on the seven-day average. Does that seem like a sudden increase when compared with last week? No, it’s not, as cases remain relatively flat and lower than they were in January and February. The mask mandate has been imposed on the populace without any basis.
From where did this will-power come? The Biden administration was the best example of this, with its lame preachers out Sunday proclaiming indoor masking.

I suppose it’s good to know that Fauci is still alive after his hiatus from media over the last several months. The good doctor, however, is back at the circuit and basking in the spotlight with another COVID variant, which is milder in Europe than in China (BA.2 Omicron).
Unfortunately, the science behind surgical masks is still unchanged. Cloths and surgical masks are still ineffective at stopping the spread. Even though N95s may be marginally better, they aren’t practical for daily use due to fitment and sanitation requirements. Relative-world examples continue to demonstrate that mask mandates appear not to have any effect on final levels of spread.
All that being said, it’s almost like I am talking to the walls when I mention these facts. People who promote mask-wearing are motivated by cultish devotion and not an awareness of what really works. For politicians, masks are an easy scapegoat to be able to say “look, I’m doing something.” For true believers, it is their religion, never to be questioned. Given that, it’s not surprising that we are now entering the third summer of mask mandates in certain parts of the country despite COVID being endemic and under control.
If you live in blue areas, having a backup plan might be prudent because the Democrats who rule America’s major urban centers will never relinquish their power. This will not end.
