Louisiana Bans Transgenders From Women’s Sports

Biological males will no longer be allowed to play in women’s sports in Louisiana.

Republican lawmakers passed the state’s “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act,” with the bill becoming law after Gov. John Bel Edwards (D), did not approve or veto the bill.

The bill claims that men have many biological advantages over women in areas like “strength, speed, and endurance,” which makes competing in women’s sports inherently illogical, impractical, and immoral.

Edwards admitted that even though he did not vote for the bill outright, he still felt strongly about the dangers associated with it.

“Whether it’s intended or not, the effect is to [send] a strong message to at least some of these young people that they shouldn’t be who they think they are, who they believe they are, who they know that they are,” Edwards said this past Monday. ” I find that very distressing. I do believe that we can be better than that.”

The Human Rights campaign further bemoaned the legislation, saying that, “Trans kids, like all kids across the country, have said themselves that they play sports for the same reasons all kids do: to be part of a team, to learn discipline, and above all, to have fun with their friends.”

Despite the emotional responses by both these parties, it is fair and accurate to say that Louisiana’s government is right to step in and enact this measure based on the disastrous results we have seen this ideology produce (Lia Thomas, anyone?).

It is only one example of the growing hatred that many Americans have for transgender ideology. A poll by OnMessage Inc. was conducted for the American Principles Project. Six Senate battleground states – Georgia Arizona Wisconsin Pennsylvania Nevada Nevada and New Hampshire – found that 63 percent are too young for a sex-change decision. Additionally, 56 percent support a ban on sex-change treatments and surgery for children younger than 18.

In fact, transgender golfer Mianna Bagger, a male pretending to be a female, said in April that males competing in women’s sports is flat out ridiculous.

“Male-bodied people presenting as women, who live as women, with varying degrees of medical intervention and in some degrees, no medical intervention, which is just — it’s crossed the line, in my view, it really has … It’s a slap in the face to women,” Bagger said.

A transgender athlete is able to point out the stupidity of our ideology. It seems that many Americans are beginning to see the same thing, as shown by this poll.
