Liz Cheney spoke aloud to Mark Meadows on Tuesday. These texts came from different people, either in the Capitol Building or other connected buildings. Cheney began. Her recital was delivered in dark, unsettling tones. Her reading was slow and growing in gravity. Texts were sent by unidentified individuals.
“Mark, the protestors are literally storming the Capitol”
She looked at the text and then read it:
“There’s an armed standoff at the House Chamber door”
Cheney next reads the following text:
“In all caps, and I quote: POTUS needs to calm this shit down”
Then, she read text messages from Sean Hannity and Brian Kilmeade of Fox News, among other Fox News host, to urge Meadows for Trump to issue a public statement to the protesters leaving the Capitol. Cheney’s recital was intended as an indictment of Meadows and Trump. It was her intention to attack Trump in an orchestrated and planned conspiracy to overthrow it. It was a terrible miss.
With her gun full of text, she objectively accomplished the opposite. It’s clearer now, after her lengThy reading, that January 6thThis was a chaotic and unplanned riot. It had none of the makings of a planned “insurrection.” It was a riot with clowns in costumes, and a dude wearing makeup and a buffalo headdress. What were the guns drawn? All of them were federal employees. Ashlibabbitt, however, was objectively the one to die in the Capitol riot.
Cheneys have the tendency to point at one thing and hit another.
Liz Cheney’s aim is as bad as dad’s. Duck!
