Leftist Activist Gets Much Too Close to Kyrsten Sinema – Opinion

You would think that the left would learn their lesson that harassing Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) isn’t going to work.

Leftists reached out to Senator Jeff Flake (RINO–AZ) in their opposition of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for the Supreme Court. So they think it’s now going to work on other people as well.

Sinema, however, is made from much more stern stuff than Flake who was a folded-up suit. The more you push her, the more she’s likely to dig in her trendy heels and hold the leftists off. They’re just making her more resistant as they keep on at her.

But if you listen to some of the leftists on social media now, it’s about trying to make her life unpleasant for not going along with them – about not giving her a moment’s peace because she’s stood against them. That’s how vile this has gotten with some of them.

A video has emerged of another activist trying to harass Sinema at the airport over Joe Biden’s Build Better Better bill.

The woman gets so close at one point Sinema is prompted to say, “Don’t touch me!” The woman then claims that she didn’t touch her. It’s hard to tell because of the camera angle.

Sinema appears now to have at least two law enforcement officers or security guards walking closely with her. While they don’t ward off the woman, they’re tightly enough with Sinema to do something if they had to. I’d previously expressed concern that she didn’t seem to have sufficient security so I’m glad to see it.

Sinema continues to walk with the woman, but she seems to have backed off slightly when Sinema warned her. The woman continues to harass Sinema about climate change. “Every single year in Arizona, it’s getting hotter and hotter,” the woman said. “We’re breaking records … People are suffering. They are suffering. What are you going to do about climate change?” she asked. Sinema was also accused by her of having met with lobbyists.

Sinema continues to walk, ignoring her. Sinema even apologized to one her security personnel for interrupting the woman.

Sinema was attacked at the airport twice more times by activists. They also harassed Sinema in other locations throughout the month. Arizona State University Police recommended that Sinema be charged with harassing her outside her classroom. They then followed her into the restroom, filming while she was there.

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has claimed they’re getting closer and Joe Biden invited Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) to his home in Delaware, it doesn’t appear that either Manchin or Sinema are caving on their points. Biden, who had $3.5 trillion in revenue, has to concede a lot. Now reports are of $1.75 billion. But Manchin is holding to his $1.5 trillion number as well as his other objections and has said that he’s willing to walk away and not pass anything in regard to Biden’s social spending bill. We’ll have to see what the week brings.
