A shooting at the Independence Day Parade in Highland Park, Illinois left 26 dead and 6 others hospitalized.
According to local police, the suspect is white and between 18-20 years of age. A manhunt is underway for the suspect, who also reportedly has long black hair, a small build, and is wearing a white or blue t-shirt, WGN News’ Dan Ponce reported.

The firearm of the victim was recovered by police at the crime scene. CBS Chicago reported that the authorities continue to ask people for shelter.
