Just an hour after Colorado’s polls close, Lauren Boebert, Republican Representative (3rd District), was miles ahead her opponent, Don Coram, State Representative. Boebert was declared the victor of her primary less than two hours after she closed.

The Washington Times
Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert is one of most divisive members of Congress. Lauren easily beat a challenger by a more mainstream Republican and won her primary Tuesday.
Boebert is a fierbrand first-term candidate. After redistricting, her GOP-leaning 3rd Congressional District was made even more Republican.
She had little trouble with moderate state Rep. Don Coram, a rancher and hemp farmer, who slams what he calls Boebert’s extremism.
Coloradans are able to see an ally where legacy media perceives an extremist. Boebert supports former President Donald J. Trump’s America First agenda. Boebert is unafraid of the MAGA label, wearing it as a badge of honor, while exemplifying the fire and the fight that characterized Trump’s first term. Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene, her fellow Republican from Georgia, are not afraid to criticize President Joe Biden’s failures on Afghanistan, the economy, as well as the Southern Border. Boebert and Greene even heckled Biden, chanting, “Build the Wall!” during his first State of the Union address in March.

Boebert was attacked by a Democrat Super PAC, which claimed that Boebert had been a sex worker as well as had several abortions. These allegations were proved false and Boebert threatened legal action against them.
Despite the attacks from establishment Republicans, and heavy money being poured into Coram’s campaign from Democrats and the Left, this apparently did not blunt Boebert’s momentum or her popularity among her constituents.
