Lauren Boebert Flattens Eric Swalwell When He Tries to Equate Her to Highland Park Suspect – Opinion

As I reported earlier, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) got in trouble with folks on the left when he said that they shouldn’t blame the NRA for mass shootings, but instead should concentrate on blaming Republicans and trying to vote them out. His take was crazy since neither the NRA nor Republicans are responsible for mass shootings, but the Democrats want to blame their opponents and/or guns rather than having to deal with hard issues like mental illness and moral decay, which don’t have easy solutions. People on the right praised Swalwell for suggesting that he would excuse the NRA.

He defended himself but then slipped and said that his goal was to not blame the NRA, but use the incident to get Democrats elected by blaming Republicans. He then attacked Rep. Lauren Boebert (R.CO), a Republican female lawmaker who supports the Second Amendment.

Swalwell posted a picture of Boebert with a rifle next to a picture of the Highland Park suspect, Robert Crimo III, saying, “Let’s start drawing straight lines.”

But the day hasn’t been going well for Swalwell. He had first been beaten up by the left over his NRA tweet. Now, people on the right, including Boebert, are calling him crazy for trying to connect her with the suspect.

But Boebert wasn’t taking it lying down and just leveled Swalwell, drawing straight lines between Swalwell, Christine Fang, and Xi Jinping.

Swalwell tried to get back at Swalwell.

But it didn’t go well.

Boebert, however, made a stronger argument about Fox’s exchange.

Boebert told Fox News Digital she gets “that Eric Swalwell isn’t a fan of our Constitutional rights and is desperate to distract from his repeated political failures, but the only straight line that needs to be drawn is from Eric Swalwell to Fang Fang to the Chinese Communist Party.”

“I will make sure that line gets drawn when we take back the House,” Boebert continued. “Law-abiding gun owners won’t be smeared and disarmed every time a California failed presidential candidate rolls out of bed with a Chinese spy and tries to blame us for the conduct of others.”

Boebert said that the rhetoric used is dangerous and should be condemned. She called him a “Russia hoax conspirator and failed presidential candidate that slept with a Chinese spy. Now he’s comparing me to a deranged murderer.” “When will Democrats condemn HIS dangerous rhetoric?” she asked.

Unfortunately, that’s not coming anytime soon. Boebert revealed the extreme positions of Swalwell, and other Democrats pushing this line. Americans get what’s going on and they’re not taken in by this; they can distinguish between law-abiding, gun-owning Americans and killers. It is easy to see how extremist the Democrats have become in this area and other areas. It seems that they just don’t realize the negative effect of their rhetoric. But they’re going to find out in November.
