With the Biden administration’s propensity for poor polling, it is getting more and harder to create headlines for such articles. Every few days, there’s a new barrel scraper in the news. How many turns of phrase are there for “absolutely terrible?” Yet, I keep moving forward, googling synonyms in order to keep you informed.
With that said, today’s descriptor is “rains fire” because that’s pretty much what the latest CBS News poll does to Joe Biden’s presidency. The top-line approval of 42 percent may seem like it’s an improvement compared to some other recent surveys, but remember, trends are denoted within the history of a single poll. While some polls may be lower than others, what does each one tell us about the trends? In this case, 42 percent approval is a record low, down 20 points from Biden’s honeymoon high.

And Biden’s overall job approval is 42%, that’s down one point from last month. The number has been in the 40s for several months, and this tick down marks its lowest point. pic.twitter.com/6qWcuvpo6K

You can also see that the polling on individual issues is not good for Biden, as you will see in the graphs. With his approval sitting at 37 percent on the economy and 31 percent on inflation, there’s just no way out for the president. He’s already played the misleading “we’ve created a bazillion jobs” card to death, and if “good” jobs reports aren’t arresting his fall, there’s not another stopping point on the way down the hill.
Because of where Biden is placed between the rock and the difficult place, inflation will not go away. The economy is likely to enter recession if interest rates rise in order to lower inflation. If interest rates aren’t raised, inflation will continue out of control. Due to the White House’s total incompetence, there is no good outcome for the country during the next few years.
Immigration is another major issue facing the American people. Title 42 will be canceled by the Obama administration, which would cause illegal immigration to spiral into a massive tsunami. CBP agents may want to consider other opportunities. The government isn’t going to stop spitting on you and putting you at grave risk anytime soon.
The administration’s counter to all this has largely been to insult the intelligence of the public, claiming these low marks are a result of bad messaging and media bias. In reality, what’s driving the discontent is personal experience.
This is based on American experience. Two-thirds of Americans say that higher prices are difficult, or even impossible. It’s forcing Americans to cut back. https://t.co/9OaOOQIMlX pic.twitter.com/BptFZse7gh

As I’ve said many times, you can lie to people about a lot of things. You can’t lie to them about what’s in their bank account. Exorbitant grocery prices and high gas prices are just a few of the many problems that face us. They are not insignificant issues. They’re something that everyone faces on a daily basis. Because the administration cannot offer any solutions to people’s suffering, telling Americans not to believe what they are seeing is not an effective strategy. There are many problems right now. Many of them are caused by an administration that feels so beholden only to a few that it allows everyone else to suffer.
