Katie Lee Pitchford, 21, has been jailed after Florida police accused her of squeezing her live-in boyfriend’s testicles so hard they bled.
According to an arrest report, Pitchford became “enraged” during an argument with her boyfriend last Tuesday. The boyfriend became jealous and verbally confronted her after learning she wanted to go out on a date with an “old friend,” police said.
He allegedly went to sleep later that day and woke up to Pitchford squeezing his testicles.

“The victim also stated the defendant ‘grabbed him by his balls and squeezed them until they were bleeding,” said a police report.
Pitchford’s boyfriend called the police, and when they arrived to the Indian Harbour Reach residence, they found his faced bruised and bleeding, the report said. He accused her of punching and scratching him, hitting him with a brush and choking him.
While Pitchford admitted that an argument took place, she said it was only verbal. She was arrested and charged with domestic battery and violation of probation.
According to The Miami Herald, she was on felony probation for resisting an officer with violence in November 2017.
Inside a patrol car following her arrest, Pitchford “asked if she could talk to the victim because she wanted to say she was sorry,” the police report said.
Katie Lee Pitchford and domestic violence against men
Women are the primary targets of domestic violence, and the #MeToo movement has drawn renewed attention to the ways that men oppress and abuse women. However, a large number of men face domestic violence, too, and their experiences are often dismissed. In the United States, one in seven adult men have endured “severe” domestic violence, according to the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
