Joy Reid Has a MELTDOWN Over GOP Senators Questioning Judge Jackson

MSNBC’s Joy Reid had only five minutes to spare after the U.S. Senate confirmed hearings of Judge Ketanji brown’s nomination for the Supreme Court closed on Tuesday. ReidOutShe tried to infuse as much hate and vengeance against Republicans as she could. Her credit is due to her success. In the five minutes she had to react to Tuesday’s hearings she managed to call Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) “thuggish” multiple times and accused Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) of never attending law school classes at Harvard.

The Senate Judiciary Committee had ended its session and Reid was given the opportunity to present her guests to Reid. She also gave her initial reactions to the testimony. Former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman was the first to give his reaction and claimed the last hour of Jackson’s testimony “was the best hour I’ve ever seen in a confirmation hearing. She took Cotton’s totally nasty and foolish line of questioning and clobbered him with perfect temperament.”

Reid was predictable to agree, before adding the word she “would use for Tom Cotton was thuggish. “I thought he was thuggish.” Litman interrupted Reid calling Cotton a “bully”And a “cretin.”

Later on, in the unhinged segment, Reid insulted Conservatives who rightly refer to 1619 Project author Ibram Kendi as a critical race theorist, “Liars, idiots, and lying.”Reid wept that “Ibram.X. Kendi does not consider himself a critical racetheorist. Everyone who claims he’s an idiot or a lie is lying.”

After that, she vented her fury at Senator Cruz “Supposedly Ted Cruz was at law school. According to Ketanji Jones-Jackson, Ted Cruz was not in class. It is possible that he skipped classes and was sleeping, as he does not know critical race theory.”

Reid wasn’t content with Cruz. Then, she began to melt over Senator Josh Hawley (R–MO) asking Jackson questions about her sympathy for the pedophiles. She then turned her fury against all GOP Senators who dare ask Jackson tough questions.

Josh Hawley was silent and did not have any comments. He fully supported Brett Kavanaugh. They’re claiming that they are the defenders of the integrity of childhood. They’re going to go after child pornography and rape. And they’re going to defend the integrity of childhood.

Brett Kavanaugh, a credible accusation, was convicted of rape. Students in high school and college! Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, all of you and Mike Lee and Tom thuggish Cotton. You didn’t defend teenage victims of the man you gleefully put in a lifetime position on the Supreme Court. It’s not your right to speak about Judge Ketanji Jackson. It was an intellectual defeat for you and it’s mad. You’re crazy!

It’s an outlandish lie to claim that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was raped. Reid seemed eager to go on air, and get savage on Republican Senators that wanted to exercise their constitutional duty to inquire into a Supreme Court nominee. She is aware that Justice Jackson’s comment was not intellectually stimulating. sympathizing with pedophilesSo she was forced to lie about Justice Kavanaugh and lash out.

JOYREID: I am here now to speak about the second day confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji brown Jackson. He is very humble, kind and poised. The very fine Senator Cory Booker is just finishing it off. We thank God for a positive note. Paul Butler, a former U.S. attorney and federal prosecutor, is joining me.

(…)

HARRY LITMAN: Today was solid for her, but this last hour I think – I think– I’m a little reeling from sort of an emotional reaction. But I think it’s the best hour I’ve ever seen in a confirmation hearing. She took Cotton’s totally nasty and foolish line of questioning and clobbered him with perfect temperament. The back-and forth between Booker and Cotton was genuine, honest, respectful, dignified, and emotional. It’s one of my favorite hours. I think I saw it from both sides. This has been something I have been doing for quite some time.

REID: Yes, I do agree. Harry, I am not an expert. Yes, it is true. Tom Cotton would be called thuggish. He was, I believed, thuggish. That’s what I’m going to go with.

LITMAN: Bully! Cretin!

REID: Thuggish! Paul, I would like to meet you. These men thought of themselves as prosecutors today but Tom Cotton didn’t understand that there’s not a name, victim, and a crime. It’s not possible for her to contact anyone, which I found embarrassing. Lindsey Graham seemed screamy, and strange to me. This was not a show. Josh Hawley is ridiculous. Your thoughts.

(…)

REID: They still believe that Ibram Kendi, a critical race theorist, is the case. I asked him. He’s not. They do not know the critical race theory. They aren’t smart enough. Ted Cruz is said to have attended law school. Ketanji brown-Jackson wasn’t in class, so he probably skipped classes and was sleeping. Ibram.X.Kendi isn’t a critical-race theorist. Everybody who calls him an idiot, or a liar. I have to say and I guess I’ll throw it to you, Harry. It was Josh Hawley’s lack of words and support for Brett Kavanaugh that really bothered and bothered my eyes. They’re claiming that they are the defenders of the integrity of childhood. They’re going to go after child pornography and rape. And they’re going to defend the integrity of childhood. Brett Kavanaugh was credibly accused of rape, and the victims were teenager girls and college students.
