Joy Reid: GOP to ‘Take Ownership’ of Half The Women in US After Roe

Monday, ReidOutJoy Reid, MSNBC’s host, opened her MSNBC show by launching into another temper tantrum about the Supreme Court decision. Roe v. Wade Instead of nine lawyers dressed in black, letting the voters and each state determine abortion policy.

After debating with her panel over how much the overturning of Roe will hurt Republicans in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections, with the consensus among them that it will hurt them, and that voting alone isn’t the answer, Reid went into an unhinged and dangerous tirade.

Reid stated that the difference between the voters of the right and the voters of the left is the fact that the voters who vote for the right don’t give up. She moaned that they don’t give up. They lost for a decade after ten years, and then they finally won.

Reid said, “In the course of” Reid described how the GOP “tookover state houses and State Senates. So, the Governorships. About half of all women in the United States are currently owned by them. 48% of women live now in red states.Reid did not explain how restricting abortion rights causes states to “take control” of women. Unfortunately, Reid is never forced to explain herself because she rarely has people on who will challenge her.

“So, you are referring to the fact that these state legislatures, at the least according the Supreme Court of Justice, women in those states have their property and can do what they please.” Reid outrageously claimed without evidence.

She also said that Now it is about convincing voters. You’ll need to vote for prosecutors that won’t charge you, State Reps. and Senators that won’t ruin you and Governors not to veto your rights.

This type of dangerous rhetoric almost led to the death of Steve Scalise, House Republican Whip. In 2017, a Rachel Maddow supporter and Bernie Sanders fan shot at Republican lawmakers during their practice baseball for the Congressional Baseball game.

If you accuse political opponents of trying to enslave females, it is essentially supporting violence against them.

This dangerous rhetoric by Joy Reid was made possible thanks to the endorsement from Discover and AT&T. You can link their information to let them know what kind of commentary you support.

JOY RID: It is the difference in voters from the left and the right. Voters who are on the right don’t give up. They never give up. They won every single time, despite losing decade upon decade. Anthea was able to take control of state legislatures, and houses. They also took over Governorships, so that they can now own half of all women in the United States. Red states now account for 48 percent of women.

You’re referring to the fact that the state legislatures are, according the Supreme Court at least, their property. They can do what they like. Now it is about convincing voters to vote for prosecutors that won’t prosecute and state representatives and senators that won’t destroy your rights, and governors who won’t veto them.
