We’ve seen how liberal politicians and pundits all tend to announce they have COVID. It’s almost become something of a joke, now that the traditional tweet is that they regret to announce they have COVID but they are so thankful they are “vaccinated and double-boosted.” Because that helped them so much from getting it? Not.
So, it’s noteworthy when you have people who buck that trend and post their COVID announcement differently, and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley certainly made his announcement in a novel way. I haven’t gotten it yet, but if I do, I hope I can do it with such style.
Even though I was double-boost and vaccinated, I am now a Covid positive. I caught it after my wife became positive…

“I have joined the ranks of the Covid positive despite being vaccinated and double boosted. I caught it after my wife became positive…,” Turley said. Notice no homage, perhaps even a note that it didn’t protect him from getting it.
Then came the money shot.
…So far I have flu-like symptoms. The common symptoms I have are a sore throat, strong cough and headache. https://t.co/nrJMSqriMO

“So far I have flu-like symptoms. I am displaying the common strong cough, headache, sore throat and an overriding desire for a special counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation.”
How perfect!
Now, I couldn’t agree more that that should have been a special counsel before Joe Biden came in, because now we can’t be sure that what comes out isn’t in some way tainted under the Biden team.
There had been reports that the investigation had hit a “critical stage,” with the U.S. Attorney considering whether to charge Hunter Biden. CNN even reported it. This suggests they tried to move ahead and that something was coming. The question is, however, what. Since 2018, the investigation has been going on.
As we noted, Turley and former federal prosecutor Brett Tolman expressed concerns about where the case was at now, with Turley wondering where the investigation was going regarding Joe Biden’s involvement and if they were going to try to cut a plea deal with Hunter that wouldn’t go to the bigger questions of influence peddling and the involvement of his father.
Turley is saying it for us all when he states that the process should not be tainted, as would the special counsel. We send our best wishes to him and wish him well.
