Joe Biden Celebrates Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Confirmation With Derangement and Delusion – Opinion

This Thursday saw the Supreme Court confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson, currently-Justice. That was an event that surprised no one given it’s been obvious from the beginning of the process that she had the votes. Three Republicans, Mitt Romney and two others, joined the tally to complete the tally.

The White House set out to spin the confirmation as a massive day, not just in recorded history (because Brown Jackson is the first black woman on the nation’s highest court), but also in terms of tangibly changing the dynamics within the United States.

It is extremely unlikely that the country will look back at this time as a landmark event. It’s not 1960 anymore. While the fact that a Black woman is on the Supreme Court has historical importance, it doesn’t actually make the White House a great accomplishment in the year 2022. The nomination of Brown Jackson was done without risk and received near universal praises from the media. One day, there will be an Asian Supreme Court Justice, and that too won’t be especially remarkable in a modern context. Given that, there’s no reason to think this is a turning point in the country regarding…well, just about anything.

Instead, the exaggerated pomp and circumstance feel highly artificial. Biden’s administration desperately wants a win, as everything has been falling apart around them. Pretending that they just blitzed the beaches of Normandy to get Brown Jackson’s nomination through is all they’ve got.

Thus, we are left with deranged delusions such as this, where Biden asserts that Brown Jackson was “verbally abused” during her confirmation hearing.

You can do this by riding in a chair for pleasure or using glasses with no lenses. It’s an appropriation of the turmoil nominees who were actually abused had to go through. Brown Jackson received more respect than the three previous Supreme Court nominees. He was also treated gently. That’s undebatable. Neil Gorsuch had to face tougher questions, and stronger efforts to stop him being nominated.

Do I even have to rehash what Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh went through? In a long-running Democrat free for all, the former was falsely charged with gang rape. According to reports, the former was disqualified for her faith and attacked because she had adopted black children.

Brown Jackson was held responsible for what? It was the fact that Brown Jackson inexplicably had a history of being soft on pedophiles, especially those who deal with child pornography. This means that even with all the criticism Republicans received, she kept her record in mind. She wasn’t abused. She wasn’t interrupted any more than any other nominee is interrupted. At this stage, it is simply theft valor to suggest that.

Brown Jackson is a remarkable person who has had a very privileged and fulfilling life. Brown Jackson was the daughter of a wealthy couple. She went to Harvard University and now sits on the Supreme Court. All who wish to honor her achievements are invited to. To act like she has survived an unimaginable assault to get to where she is today. That is absurd. The nomination process for Supreme Court was destroyed by Democrats. Joe Biden is also a pioneer in smearing nominees by his treatment Robert Bork-Clarence Thomas. He has less to complain than any other person about this process.
