Illegal Aliens Win Big, as Pelosi Passes Biden’s $1.75 Trillion Monstrosity – Opinion

America, this is only the beginning. And it’s a disastrous beginning at that.

As we reported late Friday night, frazzled House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally scraped together enough votes to pass the Biden-backed, $1.75 trillion “infrastructure bill,” after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her fellow Squad comrades announced they would vote against the legislation.

13 Republicans were able to push Pelosi’s vote above the rest, which was a good thing for Democrats and Pelosi, as Bonchie, my colleague, shared earlier.

Even though the bill’s impact is terrible, Democrats plan to inflict even greater harm to America, and this will be done without bipartisan support.

But, let’s first talk about the damage already done by Friday night’s vote.

The Biden Border Crisis is not abating. Democrats continue to pander to their egos to include massive, damaging changes in U.S immigration law. Just the News reported that this included a form amnesty for many illegal aliens.

While Biden’s ridiculously named Build Back Better Act — a socialist’s $1.75 trillion spending dream — addresses a wide range of issues, the majority of which have zero to do with infrastructure, buried deep in the bill are, as Just the News described, “a series of provisions which, if signed into law, would amount to a windfall for illegal immigrants.”

Many of the provisions would affect significant changes in the U.S. immigration system — funded by taxpayers. Speaking of which, as we reported on Friday, a new study by the Wharton School of Business destroyed Biden’s nonsensical claim that his “Build Back Better” plan will cost taxpayers “zero dollars” and add “zero dollars” to the national debt. On the contrary, it would potentially increase new spending by $3.98 trillion — while revenue would only increase by $1.56 trillion.

Millions of illegal aliens deserve amnesty

Having been twice rebuffed in their effort to include amnesty in the bill — a so-called “path to citizenship” for millions of illegal aliens — House Democrats finally unveiled “Plan C,” as noted by Just the News, which relies on a process known as advance parole to protect illegal immigrants from deportation and grant them the ability to obtain work permits.

Advance parole would allow illegal immigrants to be granted relief from immigration restrictions if they have lived in the U.S. since 2011. Those who are beneficiaries could apply for five year extensions.

The government could grant up to 10 year work authorization to any illegal alien resident in the United States before Jan. 1, 2011. The Center for American Progress estimates that this would be a benefit to more than 7 million illegal aliens. However, the Democrat Party sees only seven million possible Democrat voters.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee was all over the end-around move: “It’s our best option for getting past the parliamentarian.” Fighting for “you,” America.

But there’s more.

Robert Law, director of regulatory affairs and policy for the Center for Immigration Studies, as transcribed by Just the News, sees the Democrat scheme for what it is — more than just amnesty for illegals.

“Through ‘Build Back Better,’ Democrats are trying to give some form of amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, make illegal alien students eligible for subsidized in-state tuition, and make illegal alien children eligible for tax credits that used to be limited to American children.”

Current law, according to Mr. Law, prohibits “undocumented” students from being granted in-state tuition unless U.S. citizens are offered the same rate regardless of where they’re from. But Biden’s Build Back Better Act would strike this provision, meaning an illegal alien in Virginia, for example, would pay less to attend the University of Virginia than a U.S. citizen from Maryland.

The Democrat goal is to provide in-state tuition for illegal aliens with no restrictions.

Just for News also noted that Democrats want to abolish social security numbers, which currently prove eligibility for tax credits for children. This change could provide benefits to approximately one million illegal alien children if it is passed.

Just the News noted that there were two more provisions which could have major implications.

  • To allow the government tap into unused visas in the past to permit more immigrants to enter the country. This would not only affect legal immigration but it could also impact illegal immigration. wouldn’t excludeMillions of illegal aliens would qualify to receive green cards if granted advance parole.
  • Eliminating restrictions that restrict major corporations’ ability to hire foreign workers. Google and Facebook are just two examples of employers that already use legal loopholes to permit temporary workers on H-1B visas to stay in the U.S. for life. Critics argue that such actions hurt American workers — and that the reconciliation bill would make things worse.

Oops — I almost forgot.

Here’s how much money the Build Back Better Act includes for enhancing border security:
