If Disney Wants to Shed Itself of Woke Pressure, They Need to Do What Red Bull Did – Opinion

Disney was synonymous with magic. The company that you could rely on to educate and entertain your child was Disney. The release of a movie was huge. To afford to take their children along to the parks, people worked for many months.

People are now starting to link the large corporations and child grooming. These movies are less meticulously crafted masterpieces, and much more like cookie cutter creations being made elsewhere.

It’s a sad state of affairs but Disney brought it on itself with its embrace of leftist politics that have poisoned it over the course of years. It’s gotten so bad that when it comes to even the most important of societal values, Disney refuses to act against the radicals that have infested its halls. The company’s employees are afraid of the evils they share with and who could threaten their jobs if they don’t follow orders.

Jeff Charles explained that employees want the company’s neutrality and feel that they must share their views quietly with those who don’t agree, in order to avoid being caught out. The Florida bill that protects children from being introduced to sexuality and identity politics (falsely called the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by leftists) is one such topic:

Governor Scott is yet to sign the legislation. Ron DeSantis’ signature, began when Disney employees staged a walkout to criticize CEO Bob Chapek’s hesitancy to condemn the bill. The company must stop making campaign contributions to Florida politicians that support this measure, and all investments in Florida be stopped until it is repealed. They also asked Disney to make “substantial contributions” to certain groups and expand its LGBTQ content.

The employees complained about the different treatment of workers who are political. “Employees who want TWDC to make left-wing political statements are encouraged, while those of us who want the company to remain neutral can say so only in a whisper out of fear of professional retaliation,” they wrote. “The company we love seems to think we don’t exist or don’t belong here. This politicization of our corporate culture is damaging morale and causing many of us to feel our days with TWDC might be numbered.”

It’s fair to say that Disney is suffering from a major problem here, but the cure isn’t out of reach. You just need to grow a couple.

Their inspiration can be found at Red Bull, the energy drink company, who had its own trouble with woke employees but after some very direct intervention, doesn’t have that problem anymore…at all.

Red Bull executives tried to pressure the company, using pressure and some blackmail in order to get them to support Black Lives Matter.

Red Bull North America chief executive Stefan Kozak, and North American president/chief of marketing Amy Taylor tried to subversively pressure the company to support BLM. They did this by inciting racial tension and forcing diversity hiring. This allowed them to hire more educated employees.

Then, a letter with 300 signatures from Red Bull employees was “leaked” to the press that contained complaints about Red Bull’s silence on the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests (read riots).

Red Bull didn’t cave and give these terrorists what it wanted. They brought out the guillotines and began lopping off the heads of everyone responsible…figuratively speaking.

Kozak and Taylor, along with Red Bull’s head of global culture marketing, Florian Klaass, had their employment terminated and they were promptly kicked to the curb. Red Bull then destroyed its cultural marketing programs in order to be clear that no racist work would take place at the company.

Red Bull made it clear that they would not tolerate any form of discrimination in their workplace, including diversity hiring.

“We reject racism in every form, we always have, and we always will,” said Red Bull’s board. “Red Bull has always put people and their dreams and accomplishments at its core and values the contribution of each and every person – no matter who they are. We want everyone who feels this way to be welcome in Red Bull.”

Red Bull made it clear who was in charge, and it wasn’t the woke terrorists within the company. They’re gone now, and the company hasn’t had to deal with much in terms of political turmoil within the company. The simple act of watching people who you believed untouchable be led to the cutting block can help clarify how the company operates.

Looking at the predicament Disney is in, it would appear it’s facing a lot of the same problems. The company is being terrorized by a small number of workers who make themselves appear to be a bigger group than they really are. It’s even forcing the company to release sub-par products with so much focus put on leftist political nonsense that it’s become nigh unwatchable.

If Disney wants to get itself back on track and repair its reputation, it’ll find the leaders of these walkouts and the people issuing these threats of turning the company into a pariah, and the corporation will very loudly terminate their careers and kick them out onto the street. It will then turn to the rest of its employees to make it clear that their politics don’t belong in the House of the Mouse and if they have a problem with that they can find the door and never return through it.

It’ll be a moment that restores confidence in Disney and will make it clear to the woke terrorists that they’re not as powerful as they think they are.
