We’ve been wondering what has been going on with the investigation into Hunter Biden that has been going on for four years now.
What’s the big deal?
Fox News is now reporting that the investigation has hit a “critical stage” — that Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss was considering charging Hunter Biden after the grand jury concluded its most recent term last month, but hasn’t made the decision yet.
Fox News was informed Wednesday by a source that Weiss and Justice Department officials are looking at whether Hunter Biden should be charged with tax violations and more serious, foreign lobbying offenses. According to the source, Hunter Biden may face false statement charges.
However, the source stated that Hunter Biden has not been charged and reiterated that they are still investigating.
Fox News initially reported that Hunter Biden was the subject/target in the grand jury investigation. This according to a government source. According to the source, a “target” means that there is a “high probability that person committed a crime,” while a “subject” is someone you “don’t know for sure” has committed a crime.”
Suspicious Activity Reports, (SARs), regarding suspicious foreign transactions, were part of Hunter Biden’s federal investigation.
Another source familiar with the investigation told Fox News in December 2020 that the SARs were regarding funds from “China and other foreign nations.”
Even CNN is reporting on it, which may be another indication that we’re approaching critical mass in the case as CNN generally tries to avoid Hunter Biden stories if they can at all do so. CNN points out that false statements could include lying about the form in order to obtain a gun that we’ve previously covered.
BREAKING NEWS: It’s Even @CNN can’t deny Hunter Biden is in serious trouble.

CNN reported that the team was reducing the scope to tax and gun charges. If that’s the case, that might give Joe Biden an out if it doesn’t get into the foreign lobbying — and that would be a concern.
Senator Ron Johnson (R.WI) expressed concern about the possibility of a plea deal with Hunter Biden. This would prevent any further investigation into Joe Biden’s foreign connections. As we reported earlier this week, there were more connections that were revealed between Joe Biden and Hunter’s business associates. Hunter made some worrying comments about China and Russia connections. There’s a lot there connecting Joe, but will they get to that? We’ll have to wait and see. I’ll believe it when I see it.
