Through Wednesday, Acosta had pulled an average of 561,000 total viewers and 130,000 views in the key 25-54 demo, which would put him only one percent behind Keilar’s final, week-long totals of 565,000 total viewers, but 12 percent behind Keilar’s 147,000 demo viewers.
The fun part is now. Taking Acosta’s Wednesday numbers of 659,000 total viewers and 164,000 in the demo, Nielsen Media numbers returned some fantastical results. They did the same for Keilar as last year. Day of the New Trustworthy SourcesThe genres were varied.
Reality shows led the way as, in a head-to-head win, HGTV’sJoe, the Home Inspector Acosta was crushed with 1.047 Million viewers total and 299,000 demos. Other HGTV shows also cleaned up. House HuntersThe demo drew in an impressive 1.262million viewers total and 356,000 per episode (with another episode fetching 1.158milion and 300,000. Property Brothers At 1.162 Million and 298,000 in 25-54.
Just as they did with Keilar, TLC’s My 600 Pounds LifeFake News Jim has been evicted with 853,000 viewers overall and 318,000. in the demo. Bravo continues to be the best. Vanderpump RulesYou conquered! weekend CNN Newsroom HostingThe demo attracted 861,000 viewers total and 454,000 people.
Home to reruns of old Westerns, INSP also showcases reruns of History Channel’s Men from the MountainAcosta was out-watched by. The 8:00 p.m. Eastern broadcast drew 928,000 viewers, but only 100,000 demo viewers. Their weapons were a part of History. Forged in fireA total audience of 794,000 viewers, and 321,000 demo-goers helped score an impressive direct win.
Scripted shows didn’t provide any relief for Acosta. The Hallmark Channel was his favorite channel. ran a movie entitled Sand Dollar Cover with this synopsis: “Stamford developer Elli works on acquiring beachfront property in Sand Dollar Cove, a quaint Connecticut beach town, but falls for the town’s charm and property owner in the process.”
Acosta won them in the demo but Hallmark was able to win with an impressive 7745,000 viewers.
BET’s drama is featured on the network. SistasIt was seven figures: 1.035million, and 398,000 for both the groups. Four episodes of Westerns were also produced. GunsmokeAcosta was beaten in viewers total with 1.19 million, 9133,000, 902,000 and 840,000 respectively.
Also, syndicated dramas and comedies had great success. NCISEpisodes on WETV saw total viewerships of 702,000 each, 669,000 and 664,000 respectively. TV Land was also a hit. Everybody Loves RaymondAcosta won both the categories with 694,000 e 167,000 respective.
Going back to CNN to wrap things up, Acosta wasn’t popular among all CNN shows either as he finished second to last on Monday and third to last on Tuesday, but a respectable fourth on Wednesday.
He was however stronger during the demo and finished midpack compared with his colleagues on Monday and Tuesday, and third on Wednesday for CNN viewers aged 25 to 54 years.
