It seems the more time passes since Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, the more the most deranged voices on MSNBC meltdown. Mehdi Hasan (a always unhinged leftist host) decided on Sunday to be frightened that Musk might somehow transfer Twitter to her. “neo-Nazi”Republican Party.

Conservatives as a movement have become far more reactionary, authoritarian, and xenophobic. I thought that was undeniable, that everyone who’s sane and sensible knew this. Everybody, apart from Elon Musk, the world’s most wealthy man and billionaire lover child of 4Chan forum members, has been preparing to take over Twitter.
Hasan says that the Republican Party has moved rightwards since 2008. This is because Romney, who was nominated for the GOP nomination in 2012, is now the Republican Party. “RINO pariah”In ten years, who went where? “GOP leader to bleeding heart woke outcast.”Hasan does not realize the fact that Romney was always disregarded by the Republican Party’s conservative base.
In contrast, according to Hasan the Democrat Party hasn’t moved left at all since 2008 because Joe Biden was Barack Obama’s running mate and now he is the leader of his party along with “pro-coal conservative West Virginian Joe Manchin.”
Hasan declared that he is a complete detestable person to anyone who might be considered his rightful owner. “America’s far-left wants to give us free health care and free childcare”While “America’s far-right wants to give us white supremacy and no democracy.”

This is an extremely dangerous time. The pro-QAnon and pro-neo Nazi factions of the Republican Party are poised for explosive growth, when the midterms come around. Donald Trump’s reelection could be within two years. We may see this week as pivotal if that occurs. A petulant, not-so-bright billionaire bought the most powerful messaging machine and handed it over to the far right.
On Monday morning, Grabien founder Tom Elliot posted the soundbite of the above comment on Twitter, and Elon Musk responded to MSNBC and NBC’s hypocrisy that this is the same news network that covered up Hunter Biden’s laptop and the sexual assaults by prominent Democrats like Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer.

Eastern, 9:01:12MEHDI HASAN: America’s old grand party has shifted to the right over every topic imaginable for decades. Not just the right but also to the fringe paranoid conspiracists of American public life. Conservatives as a movement have become far more reactionary, authoritarian, and xenophobic. I thought that was undeniable, that everyone who’s sane and sensible knew this. Everybody, except for Elon Musk, the world’s most wealthy man and billionaire lover child of a 4chan forum and a Zambian emerald mind is working on taking control of Twitter. Sorry to be so harsh, but I think it’s time to hand over Twitter to the far right. Do you doubt me? You think Musk is an innate genius, that he can do anything, and that there are no clear politics. Sorry. You may have heard of a viral meme that was circulating a few days back. This meme is quite straightforward. Between 2008 and 2021 America’s left political party has moved to the extreme left, but America’s right political party hasn’t changed one inch.
Unfortunately, it is a ridiculous but not novel argument. Similar sentiments were expressed by Andrew Sullivan, Sam Harris and Bill Maher. The talk of the town is a favorite topic of conversation for a particular group, mostly of white males and middle-aged self-described contrarians. Right-wing Republican propaganda is a common pastime for counterrians. I mean, imagine seeing Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert and Ron DeSantis banning math textbooks, and Greg Abbott busing migrants to Washington, D.C. and saying, Democrats, they’re the crazy extreme ones!
So what do Musk & co. say in response to all of this? Well, they claim the change they’re talking about is less about policies and more of an atmospheric evolution. According to them, politics is feeling different. They believe there’s been an atmosphere shift, just like Gen Z would say. We can put aside for a second the idea that the facts aren’t interested in your feelings. People suddenly feel very connected with their feelings. Let’s still engage in earnest with them. Joe Biden, a Democratic candidate, lost 2008 to Barack Obama, a much more liberal opponent. Because he and his blue-haired moderate dog were so moderate, and so appealing to American voters, Biden was pragmatically elected as Obama’s vice president.
Joe Biden, the milk-toast moderate, has become the standard-bearer among all Democrats in 2022. He is the leader of America’s libertarian party and sits at the White House. Along with Joe Manchin (pro-coal conservative West Virginian), he set the liberal left agenda. Wow! This is a radical left! Now, let’s consider the Republican body which you’ll recall in 2012, nominated one Mitt Romney to spearhead their chance for the White House. Yes, Mitt Romney now, RINO pariah Mitt Romney. In ten years, the man who went from GOP leader and bleeding heart to became an outcast. He was a man that, we should note, has never changed one single position on any of his policies. While he’s still Mitt Romney on all issues, his party is now a lot more to the left.
Let me know again how you feel about the Democrats going off-road. Did they manage to pull off a coup? Are they now accusing others of having eaten babies? You know, Americans are prone to simplify the discussion of the far-left or the far-right and call them the same dangerous fringe block. Elon Musk is no stranger to this, as he has repeated it numerous times over the course of the week. Here’s what the difference is. America’s extreme-left would like to provide free healthcare and childcare. America’s far right wants us to have white supremacy, but no democracy. The polarization that has occurred in America is asymmetrical. Politics would be laughable if it weren’t so horrifying.
It is a dangerous moment. With the midterms approaching, the pro-QAnon, pro–neo-Nazi section of the Republican Party will expand rapidly. Donald Trump’s reelection could be within two years.
