It seems the more time passes since Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, the more the most deranged voices on MSNBC meltdown. This was evident when Mehdi Hasan, a leftist host who is always unhinged, decided Sunday night to panic that Musk would somehow give Twitter to her. “neo-Nazi”Republican Party.

Conservatives as a movement have become far more reactionary, authoritarian, and xenophobic. I thought that was undeniable, that everyone who’s sane and sensible knew this. Everybody, apart from Elon Musk, the billionaire lover child of 4Chan Forum and a Zambian emerald, seems to be on the verge of taking over Twitter.
Hasan claims that the Republican Party, which was elected as the nominee for the GOP in 2012 by Romney and now is a majority of the GOP’s right-leaning party, has been shifting to the right since 2008. “RINO pariah”Who in ten year went from “GOP leader to bleeding heart woke outcast.”Hasan doesn’t realize that Romney isn’t the same person he was in 2012. His loss has soured many people within the base.
In contrast, according to Hasan, the Democratic Party hasn’t moved left at all since 2008 because Joe Biden was Barack Obama’s running mate and now he is the leader of his party along with “pro-coal conservative West Virginian Joe Manchin.”
Hasan declared that he is a complete disdainful of anyone who might be considered to be his rightful owner. “America’s far-left wants to give us free health care and free childcare”While “America’s far-right wants to give us white supremacy and no democracy.”
Hasan continued to demonize Elon Musk’s Republican Party.
This is an extremely dangerous time. The pro-QAnon and pro-neo Nazi factions of the Republican Party are poised for explosive growth, when the midterms come around. Donald Trump’s reelection could be within two years. We may see this week as pivotal if that occurs. The moment a young, not very bright billionaire purchased one of the most important messaging devices and gave it to the far-right.
On Monday morning, Grabien founder Tom Elliot posted the soundbite of the above comment on Twitter, and Elon Musk responded to MSNBC and NBC’s hypocrisy that this is the same news network that covered up Hunter Biden’s laptop and the sexual assaults by prominent Democrats like Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer.

Eastern at 9:01 p.m.MEHDI HASAN: America’s old grand party has shifted to the right over every topic imaginable for decades. Not just the right but also to the fringe paranoid conspiracists of American public life. Conservatives as a movement have become far more reactionary, authoritarian, and xenophobic. I thought that was undeniable, that everyone who’s sane and sensible knew this. Everybody, except for Elon Musk, the billionaire lover child of a 4chan forum and a Zambian emerald mind is working on taking control of Twitter. It’s a shame to admit that I have to give this platform to the far-right. You don’t have to believe me. Believe me? Musk is brilliant in every aspect of his life. Musk’s complex personality has no apparent politics. We are sorry to disappoint. Some of you might be aware of an old viral meme which was deleted a few days before. It’s quite simple: America’s political left moved significantly further to the left between 2008-2021 but America’s right hasn’t changed one inch.
Unfortunately, it is a ridiculous but not novel argument. Similar sentiments are expressed regularly by Andrew Sullivan and Sam Harris. The talk of the town is a favorite topic of conversation for a particular group, mostly of white males and middle-aged self-described contrarians. It’s not difficult for contrarians to recite right-wing Republican propaganda. I mean, imagine seeing Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert and Ron DeSantis banning math textbooks, and Greg Abbott busing migrants to Washington, D.C. and saying, Democrats, they’re the crazy extreme ones!
So what do Musk & co. say in response to all of this? Well, they claim the change they’re talking about is less about policies and more of an atmospheric evolution. According to them, politics is feeling different. They believe there has been an atmosphere shift, just like Gen Z would say. We can put aside for a second the idea that the facts aren’t interested in your feelings. People suddenly feel very connected with their emotions. But let’s not forget to engage them earnestly. Joe Biden, a Democratic candidate, lost 2008 to Barack Obama, a much more liberal opponent. Because he and his blue-haired moderate dog were so moderate, and so appealing to American voters, Biden was pragmatically elected as Obama’s vice president.
Joe Biden, the milk-toast moderate, has become the standard-bearer among all Democrats in 2022. The head of America’s Liberal Party, Joe Biden sits in the White House. He along with pro-coal West Virginian Joe Manchin set the liberal Left agenda. Wow! Wow! Now, let’s consider the Republican body which you’ll recall in 2012, nominated one Mitt Romney to spearhead their chance for the White House. Yes, Mitt Romney now, RINO pariah Mitt Romney. This man, who over ten years went from GOP leader into a bleeding heart was now an outcast. We must also note that he has not changed a single policy position. While he’s still Mitt Romney on all issues, his party is now a lot more to the left.
Let me know again what it feels like for the Democrats to go rogue. Did they manage to pull off a coup? Are they now accusing others of having eaten babies? You know, Americans are prone to simplify the discussion of the far-left or the far-right and call them the same dangerous fringe block. Elon Musk did it many times in the last week. This is the key difference. America’s far left wants us to have free health care, and free childcare. America’s far right wants us to have white supremacy, but no democracy. This asymmetrical polarization in the U.S. Politics would be laughable if it weren’t so horrifying.
This is an extremely dangerous time. The pro-QAnon and pro-neo Nazi factions of the Republican Party are poised for explosive growth, when the midterm elections come around. Donald Trump’s reelection could be within two years. We may see this week as pivotal if that occurs.
