Hannity Slams Ambiguity of New ‘Disinfo’ Task Force: It’s ‘Anybody’s Guess’

Fox News host Sean Hannity slammed the White House’s new task force to address online abuse and “disinformation,” noting that even the White House doesn’t seem to know what the board will do.

Hannity bashed the Biden White House’s new online “disinformation” task force on his Fox News show Thursday. “The often giggly Vice President Kamala Harris … wants to let us know she really likes the internet,” Hannity began, referring to Harris’s unveiling of the task force.

Hannity played a clip of Harris rambling about the internet, “Well, the internet is an essential part of life in the Twenty-First Century,” she blathered. “Can’t get around it. Can’t get around without it.”

Harris unveiled the Biden administration’s newest online control effort, an online policy task force, and the Counsel to the Vice President Josh Hsu is one of the more than 15 government officials named as a member on the task force.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas (DHS) has put the DGB on hold but not its dissolution.

“Despite not yet completing any of her other jobs, you know, securing the southern border, the White House is now giving the vice president more responsibilities,” Hannity said. “Now you might be wondering, what exactly that task force will do. Well, at this point it seems to be anybody’s guess. Even the White House press secretary doesn’t appear to know.”

Hannity’s clip showed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierrenot being able to answer the question of what the taskforce will be doing and how they differ from the Disinformation Governance Board. “So I would need to talk to [Harris’s] team,” Jean-Pierre said.

Hannity chuckled, “In other words, ‘I don’t know a thing about it, either.’”

The new White House task force will go after so-called disinformation — including alleged “gendered disinformation” online, among other issues, according to a White House memo released Thursday. The task force will expand governmental “data collection” and target supposed “technology-facilitated gender-based violence.”

The fact that the task force will focus on “disinformation” and several topics near and dear to leftists, including LGBTQ+ ideology, indicates the government bureaucracy may be a reformation of the Orwellian DGB.

Based upon their previous remarks, DGB members proved anything but objective.

MRC Free Speech America discovered previously that Jennifer Daskal (DGB co-chair) and Michael Chertoff, DGB advisor had ties with leftist billionaires Bill Gates and George Soros. MRC Free Speech America discovered that DGB members and DGB advisors shared false information.
