It’s a stiff competition to beat Brian Stelter for the most annoying CNN journalist, but Jim Acosta showed he is always up to the task, this past Saturday.
The CNN Newsroom host made a mockery of the true meaning of Christmas by suggesting his viewers give their “far-right” family members the gift of media “truths” this Christmas, by printing out CNN articles for them to read. Yes, really!
The cherry on top was Acosta smugly making light of the recent arson on Fox News’ Christmas tree.
Acosta started by attacking Fox News and its viewers for the January 6 text between Mark Meadows, Fox News host and others.
Riffing off the classic Christmas poem, “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” Acosta mocked, “Over on Fox in primetime, there was such a scare as some of the texts were coming from there. However, they behaved like there was no fear next night. As they hoped their own viewers would not remember what their texts said.”
However, the genius ended here. Acosta continued to strike “disgusting” FNC hosts Sean Hannity & Laura Ingraham “North Korean state TV” “covering up the misdeeds of a wannabe dictator.”
It was so charming. He was scolded. “Ladies, it’s over your bullshit and your treachery.”
Referring to Trump supporters and FNC viewers as a “cult,” Acosta smugly suggested his liberal viewers make Christmas cards decorated with Fox personalities on the cover, but fill them with CNN and other MSM media articles.
“Perhaps you know somebody, somebody in your family, somebody in your neighborhood that needs a little more than Christmas cheer. Gift-wrapped truth is what they need. They deserve it.. Consider putting together a little folder of articles,” he instructed before showing off his obnoxious idea:
Here’s mine. I’ve got an Associated Press story in here, reporting that they found fewer than 475 cases of voter fraud in the battleground states that helped decide the 2020 election. You can also find many more great CNN articles. You can use them if you already have them. If you have children, they can decorate your folder. My cover has the Fox News Christmas Tree, which is also accompanied by photos of Sean and Laura. Don’t forget tiny Tucker. He is right there. God bless all of you, Vladimir Putin included.
When your relatives get into arguments about how the election was stolen you should calmly pass this yuletide box to them. You can personalize the folder with your celebrations of this holiday.
Acosta hopes his viewers will send him their CNN Christmas cards because they know he wants families to come together.
“In the meantime, I would love to see photos of your folders. Make one as this. [holds up Fox folder]Send me a photo and I’ll show it on the show,” he said.
Then he argued once again for the necessity of this small-minded act. “Now you wonder, then why do we have to go through that much effort?” My personal opinion is that handmade gifts make the best presents at this time of the year. This is what I tell my children, but it’s also something that makes me think. It’s the holiday season. Perhaps you’ve heard something about peace on earth, goodwill to all? It’s worth a shot.”
My belief is that bombarding relatives with CNN articles in an attempt to persuade them with your political views has nothing to do Jesus’ gift to humanity.

JIM ACOSTA
Even more disturbing is the fact that Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity have been caught acting as North Korean state TV. They lie to viewers about the day’s events, cover up the crimes of a dictatorship, blame antifa sympathizers, downplay the violence that ensued, and act like a North Korean propaganda channel. Your betrayal, your bullshit are all over the place, guys.
…
I have an idea. What can we do to break through all of the noise from the left? Maybe you have a neighbor, a family member, or someone who needs more than just Christmas cheer. These people need truth and gift wrapping. They are the best.
Perhaps you could put together a small folder with articles. [holds up card with Fox Christmas tree, FNC personalities]Here’s mine. I’ve got an Associated Press story in here, reporting that they found fewer than 475 cases of voter fraud in the battleground states that helped decide the 2020 election. You can also find many more great CNN articles. You can use them if you already have them. If you have children, they can decorate your folder. When your relatives get into arguments about the election theft, calmly pass this yuletide box to them. You can personalize the folder with your favorite holiday. Send me photos from your folders in the interim. If you create one similar to this, [holds up Fox folder]Send me a photo and I’ll include it on the show.
You might be asking why all that work? Handmade gifts are my favorite gift this time of the year. This is what I tell my children, but it’s also something that makes me think. It’s the holiday season. Perhaps you’ve heard something about peace on earth, goodwill to all? It’s worth a shot. We wish you all a happy Christmas, and all the best for tomorrow.
