A new entry is made just as 2021’s Political Lies o’ the Year was about to be closed!
CNN: Day of the NewFriday morning It Wall Street JournaKamala Harris interviewed Tarini Parti about her interview. Harris replied to Parti’s question about whether Harris believed Biden would run for president in 2024.
“I’ll be very honest: I don’t think about it.”
There is a saying that anyone who begins their statement by saying “I’ll tell it like it is” or “I won’t lie,” can expect to be fired up. When someone adds that they will be honest, and especially when they are America’s most ambitious politician, chances of them telling the truth decrease to a minimum.
Kamala Harris’s utterance of such a false claim that liberal media people laughed at was yet another proof that she is not only incompetent at her job but also a poor politician. John Berman, co-host of the show, made it clear that Kamala Harris’ facial expressions and body language were not what she intended. [see screencap]The set was filled with a sense of humor about Harris’s ridiculous assertion.
The poor Democrats are a pity. When it comes down to the 2024 Presidential candidate, they find themselves caught between the Scyllas of doddering Biden and the Charybdis cackling Kamala.
Another possibility is that someone, with a pantsuit on and prepared to go, waits eagerly at the wings.
CNN’s New Day discussing Kamala Harris’s obviously false claim that she doesn’t think about whether Biden will run in 2024 was sponsored in part by Whole Foods, SoFi, Carvana, and FlexSeal

Day of the New

6:23 am ETJOHN BERMAN : Kamala Harir, the Vice-President of Kamala Harris presented a comprehensive interview to The Wall Street Journal. This included the discussion on the 2024 elections. When asked if she thought Biden would run again, Harris responded, “I’ll be very honest, I don’t think about it“
We now have the reporter who conducted that interview. Wall Street Journal Tarini Pari is a White House journalist. It is thatIt was very interesting. There was so much about that exchange that’s interesting, right? This is the non-answer, not the answer. I’m not going to directly say I think he’s running. But then I’m also going to say we haven’t talked about it. There’s a lot here to take in.
TARINIA PIERI: There’s a lot here. And what’s really interesting here is that I actually asked her twice. First, I wanted to know if she’d spoken to President Obama and if he had informed her that he would run. It was. She said: You know what, I’m very clear This is what we are talking about. We’ve never talked about it. I haven’t thought about it.Our attention is on critical issues such as the economy and the pandemic.
So I asked her again if she believed the president was running. I asked her again, but you assume the president is running?. It’s definitely very fascinating. And we’ve heard from her supporters over this past year that she’s sort of walking this fine line where she doesn’t want to seem too politically ambitious. Because obviously she’s run for president in the past against the current president, and she doesn’t want to overshadow him. She’s trying to be careful about how she talks about it. However, it only opened up more questions after she replied.
. . .
KARINE JEANPIERRE I don’t have any more to add to that. .
. . .
KAITLAN COLLINS – So it seems that the White House is framing this question as a simple yes/no answer.
PARTI: It should be either a yes/no answer. On Wednesday, I conducted this interview. Jen Psaki: Jen Psaki had already stopped speculation and reports about possible other Democrats running in Biden’s place. . . Perhaps the vice president was trying to focus attention on issues, and that is what they discuss. And they don’t really talk about politics. However, it’s very noteworthy that they don’t talk about politics at all.
BERMAN: Even entering your interview, I’m sure you asked that question and were expecting the easiest answer, which is yeah, yeah, you know. Then she says what she says and you’re like, oh, really?
PARTI: That’s exactly right. Und that’s why I followed up and asked her again just to be sure. Surprisingly, she provided the same answer.
