Groomers are not safe for children in schools.
A public elementary school principal in Minnesota promoted a book about a transgender toddler called “Jack Not Jackie” for her kindergarten through second grade students to read this summer. According to Libs of TikTokThe video promo caused controversy. It was deleted after which an apology was issued.
According to reports, Principal Stacey DeCorsey posted a video on the Excelsior Elementary school Facebook page. She listed her favorite summer reading books. “Jack Not Jackie” was deemed a “phenomenal read.”
Alright then, let’s break down this “phenomenal read.” Shall we?
According to the synopsis, Jack (Not Jackie) is about a big sister, Susan, learning how to love her transgender brother.
A big sister discovers her little sister Jackie isn’t a fan of dresses and fairies in this touching picture book. Jackie prefers bugs and ties, not fairy clothes. Jackie is more like “Jack”, but will she be able and able to deal with it?
In the book we also learn how Jackie and Susan’s parents help their toddler cross-dress and affirm her delusional sense of identity.
It is untrue and sickening, and the promoter of it is worse.
As a result of necessary controversy over the perversion of the book, the video promotion was deleted from the elementary school’s Facebook page and an “apology” was released.
In the apology, DeCorsey claimed that her intention was “ to support our transgender students who are often overlooked and misunderstood in schools.”
Yeah, no. It is not appropriate to use transgender students with elementary students in one sentence.
In all honesty, I wouldn’t even call DeCorsey’s video an apology. This was just her justifying her book promotion and not an actual apology for her actions.
Typic leftist.
The recommendation of this book for summer reading by Excelsior Elementary makes it difficult to imagine what is promoted at other schools. Do you think teaching children distorted perceptions of reality is more important than teaching them the things they need to learn?
What’s done is done however and hopefully the book is removed from the school library, the principal is removed from the school and the students become homeschooled.
To far away? Nah.
