On Monday, Washington Times White House reporter Jeff Mordock reported: “Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show,’ will be the featured entertainer for the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in April.” The article quoted association president and CBS News Radio reporter Steven Portnoy hailing the left-wing comedian: “Trevor is an incredible talent who keeps up laughing — and thinking — four nights a week.”
Mordock explained: “April’s dinner, usually an annual event, will be the first since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” He further noted: “The association suggested that President Biden will attend the event. Former President Donald Trump skipped the dinner during his term.”
