John Durham’s investigation has exploded onto the scene in a big way the last month. It was initially believed that Michael Sussmann had been indicted for lying about his involvement with Hillary Clinton’s legal team. Yesterday’s release of the indictment on Igor Danchecko opened up things.
RedState reported that there were several major revelations. The FBI knew Danchenko had lied in 2017 and they made it known to RedState. Yet, it wasn’t until Durham got involved that he was finally charged. What that tells us is that there was a concerted effort within James Comey’s FBI (and beyond if Christopher Wray knew about this) to cover up the fact that 1) the Steele Dossier was Russian-peddled disinformation and 2) that a crime had been committed involving it.
The FBI instead hid that information for many years and allowed the Trump-Russia collusion hoax to fester. This likely caused huge losses for Republicans in the 2018 midterm elections. That’s unconscionable for a government agency. The Washington Post, along with the media knew Danchenko had been the source of Steele as far back as January 2017. That means that while the news media were pushing “Russian collusion” conspiracies about Trump, they were aware that the real collusion had happened on the Democrat side via Steele and the Clinton campaign.
According to Durham’s indictment, the Washington Post knew in January of 2017 that the PRIMARY SOURCE for the bogus Steele dossier peddled by the FBI was a “Russian agent” according to the career Democrat operative who employed him.

However, it’s not over. It also revealed how connected Hillary Clinton was with all of this. In fact, while Danchenko was the “chief source” of the dossier, he does not appear to have been the originator of many of the salacious claims.
It turns out, Hillary-linked operatives had more connections with the Russian government that Trump. pic.twitter.com/UCN75NwsM0

Durham stated that substantial portions of Christopher Steele’s bogus file were pure fabrications, taken from Charles Dolan (long-time Democrat operative) and sent through Igor Danchenko.[Dolan] acknowledged to the FBI that he…’fabricated the fact of the meeting[.]” pic.twitter.com/wWneR09RXs

Who was Charles Dolan during the Steele Dossier’s creation? He was Hillary Clinton’s clandestine PR guy. Danchenko, therefore, was a channel for Clinton to distribute grossly falsehoods against Donald Trump. Danchenko would then pass the lies to Steele making it seem as though they were from Russia. After that, Steele would launder the lies to the media, who knew they were getting to Steele via a Russian “source” in Danchenko.
To recap, the FBI would then take the allegations seriously, including James Comey desperately trying to verify the dossier during Trump’s first year in office. When it became apparent they had been lied to, as Durham now has proven, they didn’t move to discredit Steele but kept the scam going all through the Robert Mueller investigation.
It was all corruption from the top. This included a misuse of federal government resources against presidential candidates and eventual presidents. All the while, Clinton’s campaign was at the center of it all. Is anyone involved directly with her going to pay the price? Only time will tell. This would truly be justice.
