In the last few days, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been in news for a number of big stories. The nation’s leading “expert” on COVID-19, a title mostly given to him by political means, had previously had numerous battles with Sen. Rand Paul, among others, involving whether Fauci’s agency had funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Lab of Virology in China.
That’s important because such research could have directly or indirectly led to the creation of COVID-19. The US taxpayer should not have given money to Chinese laboratories that were performing potentially dangerous experiments.
Fauci has denied for over a year that funding was used to support gain-of function research. That’s despite several pieces of evidence emerging that indicated otherwise. Fauci viciously charged Paul with lying during a contentious debate.
After the NIH revealed that money received for grant research was being used to gain-of-function, and that protocols weren’t followed properly, the truth is now known. This morning, Fauci was asked about that, and he proved once and for all that he’s a shameless, lying hack.

“Well, I obviously totally disagree with Senator Paul. He’s absolutely incorrect. Neither I nor Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the NIH lied or misled about what we’ve done.
Our framework for guiding research is the Wuhan Institute’s funding. This was in order to discover what bat viruses are in China. And the research was very strictly under what we call a framework of oversight of the type of research.”
Fauci cannot disagree with the facts. They are all there and prove the doctor has lied multiple times to Congress. Fauci’s vindictiveness is also evident in his willingness to attack Rand Paul simply for telling the truth.

Lies to Congress are a crime. Fauci clearly lied about the Senate to deny that his agency funded gain of function research. Instead of playing dumb and claiming he just wasn’t aware, he’s continuing to lie to a largely compliant media. It won’t happen because the Biden administration will protect him, but Fauci should absolutely be prosecuted. His position was a disaster, as he was in the AIDS crisis.
It is absolutely shocking that this man, the highest-paid official in government, still holds a job. It’s not enough to mention the fact that his agency tortured dogs for experiments. Fauci is under immense pressure. I wish it would bring him down. No one deserves it more than the most pompous, dishonest man in the federal government, and that’s saying something.
