Double Standard Alert: Media Outraged Over Parent Who Told Biden ‘Let’s Go Brandon’

Katie Pavlich from Townhall reported that a parent said, “Let’s Go Brandon!” during the “Santa Tracker” event with Bidens. Biden said the same thing back as if he did not know what it meant. Reporters were furious.

On Friday afternoon, CNN anchor Boris Sanchez denounced the rude behavior, and then CNN senior political analyst Ron Brownstein said it was about “insurrection” and the “Big Lie” that the Republican base thinks Biden isn’t a legitimate president. CNN did not consider Trump to be legitimate.

The Bidens were supposed to use this as a publicity stunt to look amazing. Jeremy Diamond, a CNN White House reporter was furious

NBC News published an article titled “Parent makes right-wing slur in Biden’s call with the NORAD Santa tracker.” It began: “President Joe Biden was subjected to a right-wing anti-Biden slur during a Christmas Eve call with NORAD’s Santa tracker.” Bloomberg’s Quicktake also called it “slur”. 

ABC News used the headline, “Father makes vulgar insults during holiday visit with President Joe Biden.” This is technically incorrect, as there’s no vulgarity in the title “Let’s Go Brandon”.

When he called into the Christmas event and spoke with President Joe Biden as well as first lady Jill Biden on Friday, a man used vulgar language against him.

The operators don’t screen callers for political affiliation before connecting them to the president. This is according to a NORAD official ….

An operator will usually call a parent to confirm that their child is okay with talking to President Obama. However, they won’t ask any political questions or screen the child by political affiliation.

Because it’s not an election and most callers don’t want to ask, the official explained.

CNN mocked Trump by asking him if he believed still in Santa Claus back in 2018. To the child, he said, “At seven it’s marginal, correct?” CNN allowed the use of this story in an embarrassing manner back when it was politically acceptable. Trump, what an idiot. 

ABC News condemned Trump’s “unthinkable” behaviour: 

President Donald Trump Did the Unthinkable happen? while taking calls about Santa on Christmas Eve: He asked a young girl if Santa Claus was real.

As Collman was seated in the White House State Room in front of the roaring fireplace, the President asked Collman, 7 years old, whether she is “still a believer.” This may have shaken Collman’s faith in Saint Nick forever

Trump may have been in a gloomy mood due to the ongoing government shutdown and the recent stock market selloff, but he appeared cheerful in subsequent calls.

NBC News reported that Trump enjoys “shattering illusions” and this is true. 

Trump laughed at the joke she made, but it was funny. (Thousands of people on social media were less amused, worried that children — presumably under 7 — would have their beliefs punctured by a president who often appears to enjoy shattering illusions.)

…. As it turned out, Collman was fortunate to get through, given that the government has been shut down by a Trump-Congress dispute over Collman’s demand for a wall at his border.
