Donald Trump Releases His First Post on His New Social Media Site – Opinion

If I may be so bold to borrow a line from a song of the almost geriatric Marshall Mathers, Twitter “felt so empty” without Trump. I know that Twitter is not going anywhere but I get the feeling that it will be showing a whole bunch of screenshots from the new Trump platform and the folks there won’t like it a damn bit.

This is an update from October last year, when President Obama 45 revealed what he was doing.

Trump, who will serve as TMTG’s chairman, first announced the creation of Truth Social last fall, saying the platform would create a rival social network to the current ‘liberal media consortium’ and ‘fight back against the ‘Big Tech’ companies of Silicon Valley, which have used their unilateral power to silence opposing voices in America.

‘I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced,’ he said in October.

Well, yesterday Donald Trump Jr dropped on the world a message from the former President on what looks to be and quite possibly is (wanna make sure NPR and CNN don’t fact check this as false) the new site that launches next week.

Twitter is a place where you can post anything you like about Donald Trump. As long as you don’t make it offensive, you should give him the benefit of the doubt. President Mean Tweets is a master at trolling and knows it well. The (progressive mind) cannot imagine how Trump will deal with commenting on any topic without fear of ban.

He was just right, and his timing couldn’t be more perfect. Currently, we have some of the top stories in the world being bounced around and they are, the Canadian Prime Minster’s overreach to combat the truckers. Trudeau Already Threatens Civil Liberties with His Power Grab.

Soon, we will have access to unfiltered Trump about all of this and more.

Although I am excited for Trump to be Trump, there are serious issues that this new website can address. It’s helping to combat the thin skin created by Facebook and Twitter’s Terms of Service nazis. It is a mythical standard that no one knows the exact meaning of, but which may have something to do conservative.

A popular Twitter account, which only showed photos of people saying hypocritical words, was banned yesterday for the mysterious T.O.S. violation. Twitter banned one of its most popular accounts for doing nothing. From that article…

The genius of Defiant Ls is that it only takes screenshots of hypocrites, mostly left-wingers, and juxtaposes them. They never comment on the screenshots they post, and they don’t encourage harassment of anyone. In fact, by using screenshots instead of quote tweets, Defiant Ls eliminates the direct link to the hypocrite’s account.

In short, it’s one of the best accounts on Twitter because the hypocrites in question provide 100 percent of the material for what Defiant Ls does. There can be no claims of bias or “misinformation” in that scenario because all that’s being posted are the exact words of the people who contradicted themselves.

Progressives don’t like to compete on an even playing field. Instead, they make up rules and limit speech while calling you racists. This has been a very effective strategy so far. The story about Defiant Ls being banned is not unusual for lefties who tweak the system.

Trump’s new site Truth Social is a sign that the game may be changing. I don’t ever see Twitter or Facebook going away, but the more voices the merrier quote is valid and Donald Trump, as we know, likes to stir things up as we have seen the past seven years of his political life.
