Donald Trump boxer tweet

Feminists Melt Down After Trump Unleashes His Raw Masculinity on Twitter

Liberals expressed shock and revulsion Wednesday after President Donald Trump tweeted an image depicting him as movie boxer Rocky Balboa.

Trump shared the image with his 67 million Twitter followers, and within an hour it had received almost 200,000 likes and over 50,000 retweets.

A number of conservative commentators joked that journalists should reach out to the White House to “fact check” the tweet, recalling the media’s response to a previous meme showing Trump awarding the Presidential Medal of Honor to Conan the hero dog.

“I’ve requested details from the @WhiteHouse on this photo,” tweeted the Washington Examiner’s Jerry Dunleavy, apparently ironically.

As predicted, the Washington Post quickly came out with a report on the “doctored” image. And some liberal Twitter users accused Trump of trying to appropriate “Rocky” actor Sylvester Stallone’s body.

Journalist Kurt Eichenwald called the tweet a “jaw-dropping moment of presidential insanity,” and proclaimed himself “too stunned” to say more.

Actress and feminist activist Alyssa Milano responded with a profane cry of despair.

Elizabeth C. McLaughlin, the CEO of the Gaia Project for Women’s Leadership, begged somebody to: “MAKE IT STOP.”

“I can’t believe this insane narcissist sociopath is President of the United States,” she said.

The White House did not immediately respond to Pluralist’s request for comment.
