Disinfo Board 2.0? White House Launches ‘Task Force’ to Target Online Abuse, So-Called Disinfo

The Biden White House will announce the launch of a task force today supposedly to help prevent online abuse, including so-called “gendered disinformation.” Is this a Disinformation Governance Board 2.0 in disguise?

Much like the Disinformation Governance Board (DGB), the new White House task force will go after alleged disinformation — more specifically, alleged “gendered disinformation” online, among other issues, according to the White House memo released Thursday. The task force will be unveiled by Vice President Kamala Harris and will also target things like “stalking,” “non-consensual distribution of intimate digital images” and “sexual harassment,” according to the memo.

The White House Memorandum Claims and alleged harassment online of LGBTQ+ individuals will be addressed by the task force. The Washington PostIt is claimed that the task force will also address the connection between internet abuse and real world violence including mass shootings.

The White House memo states that the task force will expand governmental “data collection” and will focus its efforts toward the federal and local levels as it works to combat alleged “disinformation” and “technology-facilitated gender-based violence.”

According to the memo, by Dec. 13, the task force will develop a set of policy recommendations for a “whole-of-government approach.”

This task force will consist of Lloyd Austin (Defense Secretary), Secretary of State Anthony Blinken (Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas) and other government officials.

The PostThe task force was positively spinned, saying it fulfils the Biden campaign promise that online abuse will be addressed. This biased liberal outlet is also fawned over Harris’s history of targeting “online exploitation,” including as California attorney general.

The PostRecent mass shooters were able to be identified by their history of extremism and online threats. “We see this over and over again, we see issues of extremism and how they turn into violence,” The Post quoted an unnamed “White House official” as saying. But The Post failed to mention that one of those shooters – the man in Buffalo, N.Y. – identified himself with an extremist leftist ideology, expressing hatred for founding Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Wire Ben Shapiro and Fox News personalities, The Washington Examiner reported.

While no one wishes violence or abuse online, leftists used these issues to justify their anti-free speech agenda in the past. Amazon deplatformed pro-free speech app Parler, and claimed it hosted “violent content” leading up to Jan. 6. Big Tech also removed the platform of Donald Trump, who was accused of inciting violence or encouraging it. He called for peace.

The DGB was a network of people who were hypocritical about their objectivity. MRC Free Speech America had previously discovered that Jennifer Daskal, DGB chairperson and Chertoff were connected to Bill Gates and leftist billionaires George Soros. MRC Free Speech America found out that DGB advisors had shared inaccurate information with a member.
