Sometimes people have difficulty with their self-confidence. Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney is not one of those people. Despite trailing in the polls she’s confident that she will win her reelection campaign come November. Laughably, she won’t even rule out a presidential run, though I don’t think there are a whole lot of folks clamoring for her to throw her hat in the ring. Republicans don’t want to have anything to do with her and her new friends from the media and in the Democratic Party will abandon her as soon as the hearings on January 6 are over. Ask John McCain about the benefits of sleeping with an enemy.
Appearing Sunday in a pre-recorded interview on ABC’s This Week, Cheney claimed:
I don’t intend to lose the republican primary in Wyoming… I think it’s important because I will be the best representative that the people of Wyoming can have.
She sounds so delusional, one can’t help but wonder if there’s something funky in her morning tea.
Questions by @jonkarl if she will run for president in 2024, Rep. Liz Cheney says she hadn’t made a decision yet.
“I’m very focused on my obligations to do the job that I have now. “I’ll be making a decision on ’24 later.” https://t.co/8aNXEy1LH1 pic.twitter.com/Uk182FCtxo

These outrageous statements are coming as Club for Growth’s May poll shows that she trails Harriet Hageman (Trump-backed Republican nominee) by 30 percentage points. A poll in June showed that 73% of Wyoming Republicans see her as unfavorably. Her stock has probably further lowered since she’s become the preening star of the ridiculous Jan 6 hearings.
She’s so disliked she’s been censured by the Republican National Committee, while the House GOP Conference booted her from her post as its chairwoman, the number 2 Republican post in the chamber. And yet, maybe she’ll run for president.
I’m obviously very focused on my reelection. I’m very focused on the January 6 committee. I’m very focused on my obligations to do the job that I have now.
I’ll make a decision about ’24 down the road.
This is a difficult decision. With the possible exception Dick her father, no one believes Liz is the right person to run the country. What exactly would Liz bring to the table? Trump-bashing. She said:
Protecting the country from Donald Trump is what I consider to be the most essential. And I think that that matters to us as Americans more than anything else and that’s why my work on the Committee is so important and why it’s so important to not just brush this past, I think it’s very important that people know the truth and that there are consequences.
Donald Trump’s hatred is borderline hysterical.
Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming declared on Sunday that Donald Trump cannot be seen again in front of the Oval Office.

Although many people criticize January 6’s events, the Committee proved itself unprofessional with the lack of exulpatory witnesses it summoned and its refusal to allow the opposing side to defend itself. Not to mention their disputed hearing testimony. Cheney’s legitimacy as a Congressman has been long lost.
She is not certain she will win, despite her odd assurances. In fact she may be without a job by November. You can expect her to join CNN or MSNBC quickly, where she will be able to rub shoulders with supposed Republicans such as Ana Navarro and Nicole Wallace. Their sole purpose is to destroy Trump.
