Dana Gush? CNN Host Airs Puff Interview With Gabby Giffords and Her Handler on Guns

CNN State of the Union Dana Bash was Dana Gush and closed Sunday’s show by playing host to Dana Bash. It looked almost like an advertisement for Gabby Giffords, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, and the gun-control lobby that she named after her. Giffords was interviewed by Bash, as well as Robin Lloyd of the group. She asked them nothing they would not ask a Second Amendment supporter.

GABRIELLE GIFFORDS Parkland shooting, Uvalde D.C. San Francisco. Too much guns. Too much guns.

BASH: You survived gun violence.

GIFFORDS: Yes.

BASH: You’re in a sea surrounded by flowers that represent people who didn’t survive.

GIFFORDS: I’m sad. Move ahead. Never look back. It is my goal to improve the world.

BASH (voice over): Giffords, a grassroots organization led by an ex-congresswoman from Arizona is headed by the former congresswoman.

GIFFORDS: Fight, fight, fight.

BASH: A… organization dedicated to ending gun violence. This was the same kind of violence that nearly cost her her life at a constituency event in 2011. It is simple.

GIFFORDS – Save Lives, Save Lives, and Save Lives

ROBIN LOYD, GIFFORDS’ MANAGING DROPER: We have made significant progress.

BASH: Robin Lloyd serves as the organisation’s managing director.

LLOYD This has been a common theme.

Is there a question? Bash and Giffords can be seen holding hands at one point.

The most odd part was here, because it ignored Jared Lee Loughner’s real history as the troubled man who murdered six other people and shot Giffords.

BASH (on camera:) I met you two years ago, just after your death from gun violence.

BASH (on Tape): What is the number one thing Congress can do to stop the violence you have been the victim of?

GIFFORDS (after an pause) Background checks

BASH: This hasn’t been possible.

GIFFORDS: No. No.

Loughner cleared a background check. Background checks have been completed for other mass shooters, such as the ones in Buffalo and Uvalde. CNN failed to mention her husband Mark Kelly as a Democratic U.S. citizen. Senator.

You might also be interested in these other questions about puffballs:

BASH: Is your gun ownership still valid?

GIFFORDS: Yes. Yes. Yes. Wild Wild West.

BASH: Still believe that people should own guns. Just make sure it is safe.

GIFFORDS: Yes. Yes….

BASH: Do you live each day to its fullest?

GIFFORDS: Yes. Yes.

BASH: You consider yourself an advocate against gun violence. Do you live each day to its fullest?

GIFFORDS: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Bash didn’t throw any hardballs at Giffords. Robin Lloyd, her handler was there.

Instead of asking questions, Bash let Lloyd talk about all the symbolism of gun violence placed behind them on the Washington Mall: “we have the 40,000 white roses behind us to represent the 40,000 Americans that died from gun violence last year, and now the new 5,000 orange roses to represent the increase in just one year of how many gun deaths we have had in this country.” Giffords responded, “Too Many Guns.” You can’t have more guns. There is nothing more. There is nothing more.

PS. Bash allowed liberal propaganda to be displayed at the top on her Sunday show.
