CRT Symposium Speaker Calls Diversity of Thought ‘White Supremacist’ Excrement – Opinion

Does diversity of thought reflect white supremacy? According to one college professor, it appears so.

Campus Reform reported that academics met recently to discuss Critical Race Theory. The symposium was hosted by Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and organized by Critical Race Studies in Education Association. It took place from May 31st to June 2nd.

CRSEA’s website describes its mission thusly:

[W]We commit to (1) fighting systemic and institutional racism with scholarship, praxis, (2) recognising the many locations of oppression along with the myriad manifestations of their effects and (3) building liberating knowledge that allows for collective agency to transform schools or communities.

In the midst of this meetup, teachers waxed poetic about one of the worst contemporary blights: whiteness.

Campus Reform witnesses claim that a California teacher at a college was raped by Campus Reform.

“Whiteness has already been constructed against blackness. There is no virtue in whiteness, it is inherently violent,” one conference-goer tweeted, referencing a quote from Michael Dumas, a professor at the University of California, Berkeley who spoke at the event.

Continued:

“Whiteness and the United States knows itself through the violence and death of the subordinated,” another attendee quoted Dumas as saying, with one academic at the conference noting Dumas claimed that there “is no position of whiteness that isn’t already violent.”

Tweets from Professor CR along these lines were tweeted by CR, but it appears that they have been removed or made private.

Dumas has, for example, expressed similar opinions in the past. tweeting that “whiteness” is “violent and delusional, delighting in Black death in every historical moment,” claiming at the recent conference that “there will never be anything close to justice in the U.S. because the system is built upon violence.”

The outlet relays another characterization by Indiana University-Purdue Professor James Scheurich, who purportedly asserted that “research” is a “colonial, white supremacist, elite process.”

Here’s more:

Professor Theodorea Berry suggested that “some people need to be slapped into wokeness.”

Berry explained to Campus Reform that the “notion of being ‘slapped into wokeness’ is one where an individual comes to gain [a] level of understanding about others’ oppression by experiencing oppression,” saying this is “especially true for those socially marginalized” people “who subscribe to respectability politics.”

“The proverbial ‘slap’ is the incident of marginalization,” she added. “The ‘wokeness’ is the realization that regardless of your privilege, marginalization can occur.”

One attendee, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago, concluded her time at the conference by noting that she’s “happy” since she managed to collect “a few white tears.”

Perhaps the most notable quote from the conference came from University of Illinois at Chicago Professor David Stovall, who reportedly lambasted “diversity of opinion” as “white supremacist bull—-.”

He also allegedly announced, “White tears are an act of physical and political violence.”

The Windex is working on whiteness and it seems that this is called wokeness. But can it be eliminated?

It is a popular option in schools:

To hear many on the aisle’s left side tell it, whiteness has made this world a mess. If they’re right, don’t worry — we’ve got more than teachers taking a turn at it.

Chuck Todd appears to be the MSNBC host and will likely join Professor David Stovall’s team. He’s standing against the white supremacy of free speech:
