Heaven forbid that “kooks” — you know, the kind of people who watch Fox News — will run for school boards! CNN delivered this information Thursday morning. Day of the Newon the supposed “moderate Michael Smerconish” to discuss Attorney General Merrick Galrland’s Wednesday testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. He also discussed the memo that he sent to FBI about threats of violence against school board member.
Smerconish feared twice about the replacement of school board members who had felt intimidated or threatened. People who show up at these meetings are the ones who will make the most of the opportunity to speak out.Make threatening remarksGod, help us to decide who we will be [their]Alternatives.“
Smerconish did not immediately call Fox News out by name to claim that Fox News is the source that, according to him, poisons the parents’ minds. His snide assertion that Fox News is poisoning the minds of parents was not true.“We know their sources of news” left no doubt that he was alluding to the fair ‘n balanced network which — it just so happens — is trouncing his employer CNN in the ratings.
Brianna Keilar was the cohost and claimed, “we should make it clear” that there was indeed a letter from school board associations to the Biden administration. ButKeilar wasn’t clear but was deceitful. It was simply a request for assistance, as she stated that school boards were under a lot tumult and threats of violence.
The truth is that she did not reveal it. the school board association letter—signed by its two most senior officials—branded parent protests as “domestic terrorism.”
The association withdrew its letter after parents responded with anger to the accusations. The “domestic terror” bell could not be disarmed. Garland countered that accusation with his memo to the federal law enforcement.
Keilar also engaged in second-rate deception.According to her, parents protest against “teachings on racial history of America” What an innocuous — and misleading — way of describing Critical Race Theory that has crept into curriculum nationwide.
CNN is worried that Fox News-watching “kooks will take over” school board members. This was partially sponsored by Lexus (Dell), Sandals and Tractor Supply.

7:53 am EDTBRIANNA KEILAR – Attorney General Merrick Garlands defends a Justice Department memo which reports a worrying spike in violence threats against school board members and employees.
. .
To be precise, the DOJ memo does not mention domestic terrorists. Republicans claim that the DOJ treats parents like domestic terrorists when they demonstrate against school COVID regulations. Teach about American Racial History
Ted Cruz: This memo is to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, stating that you should investigate your parents for domestic terrorist activities.
. .
Michael,Let’s be very clear: there was a letter that the school board association sent to Biden asking for assistanceThis is because school boards clearly have faced a lot violence and turmoil. This Merrick Garland and DOJ letters did not say that. You have to wonder what your thoughts are about this whole thing.
. .
JOHNBERMAN: How do you feel about the manner the Attorney General dealt with it?
MICHAEL SMERCONISH It was a more assertive response. You should have replied, Are you blanking?
. .
John, this is the problem. The problem is that 50% of the country is going to walk away from this exercise—Because we are familiar with where their news comes from—convinced that Merrick Garland did say that these parents are domestic terrorists.
Let’s be honest, who is going to take the initiative? I don’t know if they will pay me, but it concerns me. It’s also called The thing that worries me most is that those who step in to fill this void will be the same kooks that attend these meetings. Make threatening remarks.
Do not misunderstand my words. You can also see that I support spirited debate. The people who try to intimidate school board members are the worst. They’re likely to run for school board. This should concern all of us.
KEARLAR: I was concerned about the safety of my children and we’ve had members of our school board say that they had to fire me. My safety was my concern.
SMERCONISH – Guess what? You get zero if you are in the same school as me, where I was raised and educated. That’s exactly what I am thinking about. Poor guy who wanted to help, but now he is out of the community. You know what? God, help us to determine who is his replacement.
